"The Almond Tart was quite delicious! As you can see, the almond topping came off the tart, stuck to the paper. They have to be mindful to wrap that from the bottom. Messed up a really good tart and took away the almond. Buy it was slightly sweet and very moist. The Butter cream is not as sweet as expected, like a whipped icing. With the amount of bread, it could have used more filling. The bread was soft and good. The Iced Mocha Latte had a lot of mocha, couldn't taste the latte much. I'd definitely order again. Hopefully they fix the wrapping issue."

"This place is a flavor bomb! The Drunken Noodles were the sticky with the perfect chew. The Ginger Chicken was nice. Simple vegetables in a ginger broth with hints of lemongrass and coriander. The Edamame Gyoza was spot on too. The Chive Dumpling was my favorite. Decadent and crisp shell and a chewy center, filled with stewed greens that carry the love of 10 generations. Well done. "

"The Kothu Parotta and the Masala Dosa were absolutely delicious- they're always our go to orders when are at Amma's/get takeout from them . Flavorful and filling. The Masala Dosa is definitely better served at the restaurant because the filling is kept separate from the dosa and after delivery time, the dosa is not as warm. Still, flavors are great. The Rasamalai was tasty but portions were small (only 3 pieces) and overpriced, texture of the cheese was denser than I've had at other places but still great. The Tamarind Fish curry (Meen Kulambu) was sweet, nice to try but not necessarily something I would order again. Overall I love Amma's- my favorite Indian spot in Philly. "

"Just delicious and perfect for a hot day. Thought you had to go down to Chinatown to a restaurant like Penang to get this. Will def get again! The peanut sauce is the sweet kind I always looked for since going to Penang years ago and everyone else's seems to be just super hot. I did think the mango rice was going to be a rice dish and instead is more of a warm desert but still different and so good. The absolute only thing I would ask os for them to deshell the shrimp before putting in entrees, but also was so fresh. A+"

the Massaman Curry was savory and incredibly comforting with the creaminess and peanut crunch. We went higher spice for the Green Curry and it was fantastic. The spice only enhances the overall flavor and freshness of the dish while not overpowering at all. The Panang Curry was my favorite! It plays super well with the Shrimp, and the mixture of vegetables were perfect. The portions may be the biggest selling point as they do not skimp and we enjoyed every bite."

I have tried many of their dishes and they are all stellar. I love that I can order their tasty Side of Hot Chicken Broth when I'm under the weather. The Thai Tom Yum Stir-fry is delicious, has lots of veggies, always cooked to perfection. The Roast Pork Banh Mi is sooo good. Right now I'm really enjoying their Combination Vermicelli Noodle Salad (Choice Protein & 2ct Spring Rolls) . I really like the Thai Iced Tea and Vietnamese Milk Coffee (Cà phê sữa) , some of the other beverages are a little sweet for me. Still great flavors tough.

The General Tso's was actually spicy, the Crab Rangoon was in triangles so it was easier to eat, all of the sushi rolls were fantastic. Much to our surprise, they even included an extra little dish as a treat (labeled "Treat") and a very cute wall calendar. This is now one of our favorite restaurants!"

"I recently ordered from Lemon Thai while my son spent the night at CHOP, and I have mixed feelings about the experience.
First off, the food was very fresh, which is always a plus. The highlight for me was the Chicken Puff (Curry Puff) — it was delicious and came with duck sauce.
However, the Penang Curry was a letdown. It tasted watered down and really lacked the bold flavors I was hoping for. The chicken portion was decent, but it could definitely use more seasoning. The fried rice, on the other hand, was pretty good and saved the meal a bit.
Overall, I'd suggest the restaurant not cut corners on flavor. Freshness is great, but a punch of flavor is essential for a memorable meal. If you're in the area, it might be worth a try, but don’t expect fireworks."
