"I got the burrito equivalent of Jimothy but it wasn't cute, just very short. The pork tasted fine but there were not enough other ingredients. It's a terrible value. There are much better burritos twice the size available from a number of nearby alternatives for the same or less money. I was really disappointed. I actually had to get follow-up burrito soon after elsewhere to exercise the demons and remind myself of what a good burrito can be. I'm sure I've had a good burrito from Tamale Boy before, so maybe the economy is wreaking havoc on their bottom line and shrinkflation has come for portion sizes."

"This place is my favorite birrieria in Portland. The Torta Birria is daaaaank and it comes with the consommé. It's like a French Dip and a Torta had a baby and comes with an Instagram worthy cheese pull. The meat is super tender and flavorful. Even if you're far from city center, this place is worth the wait and the travel time.
