There was VERY little steak, mostly egg, didn’t put one of my cheeses that I paid for, which was 2 dollars and some change alone, not a SPRINKLE of seasoning, and the majority of the steak and egg was towards the middle of the sandwich, which is awful, and to absolutely beat a dead horse here, for almost 30 dollars, I’d absolutely expect to get my money’s worth, and have my sandwich full from end to end, and to have enough of what’s advertised and what I paid for on it! I try to defend Melba’s, people laugh at me for even supporting Melba’s as a local and as a chef, but things like this is why locals hardly support! Melba’s gets over and cuts corners, and they overcharge and majority of the time, they send out lackluster food and it’s not right!"

Ordering on the app was easy. Also, I have this 3 day rule. I have several times left plates in the fridge to test the quality and freshness and this is one of my go to places food is still fresh after 2 or 3 days in the fridge!

"The butter sauce was good but the food was old and left over. It seemed like they rushed and put something together. The shrimp were dark and therefore the crab legs were easy to break, they were overcooked. The dasher said they gave them the wrong food. Didn't know the crab plate came with neck-bones. The neckbones were dry, and didn't belong in the boil in my opinion. For $30, you don't get enough food. You barely got enough shrimp. I will say they gave you alot of crag legs though. I WILL NOT order this again."

"So, I'm new to NOLA and may not be understanding of their interpretation of fried rice and fried chicken, here are the pros and cons:
Food came piping hot and that is great!
Food came without any utensils. I had no fork or spoon to eat my fried rice.
Chicken pieces had odd sizing, not even sure I got 5 full wings (they call it a 10-piece but that is only cause they are counting the flat and drum as 2 pieces, you are getting 5 wings total, at best).
Chicken had feathers still. Fried feather pieces. That's just gross. Pick the feathers off of the raw chicken!!!
Seasoning was salt. Maybe pepper. No Cajun or creole seasoning on the chicken.
Fried rice had brightly colored red/orange shrimp. What dye are they using? Who knows?
Fried rice was brown, but not a single piece of green veggies...no green onions, no regular onions, no heavy soy sauce flavoring, nada. Plainest fried rice. Still better than Panda Express in some regards.
Lastly: I ordered sweet potato fries. They substituted French fries. French fries were the shoestring kind like McDonalds and not bad. I just wish I had the option to decline as I really wanted sweet potato fries and not regular fries.
With a utensil and clean fried chicken and maybe some green onions on the shrimp fried rice, I would have been happy."
