Thank goodness I can default to my usual order of Paneer Tikka Masala medium on the spicy side, Serrano Chilli Naan with extra chilis, and Basmati Rice. The two-for-one vegetarian appetizer deals have made me *and* my neighbor very happy lately. She's just as gaga over the Daal Soup as I am, and she's extra pleased when I add some Palak(Spinach) Pakora to our little feast. Despite being fried, these tasty battered nuggets keep crispy overnight--which is good because both she and I enjoy them with lunch. I'm so glad Sugandh exists! It's been my no-brainer go-to since 2018. And what a boon it keeps such suburban-late hours, too!"

"Varam is a new Indian place, haven't tried in person, but just tried on Door dash for the first time. I ordered two Biryanis and loved them both! The Golconda Kofta Biryani is amazing! This biryani had minced goat koftas shaped around a hard boiled egg (think Scotch eggs, if you don't know what a kofta is). The kofta is pretty large and you get two kofte in the dish. The biryani was very flavorful and also spicy, and the minced goat was incredibly delicious and tender. Loved it, will definitely order again. The Potlam Chicken Biryani was also super delicious, it's an egg-wrapped biryani with spicy boneless chicken pieces. Also very good, the chicken was tender and juicy. Will be ordering both of these dishes again!"

On top of that, there were maybe three to five small pieces of chicken. The Palak Paneer was unfortunately even worse. It was extremely bland, overly oily, the same thin consistency, not saucy at all and honestly not edible. I couldn’t finish it. Overall, the food felt low quality and overpriced. "Shocked that I didn't 5-star them when I first tried a few months ago. Tandoori Chicken is great, mildly spiced and not boring, made a good road trip lunch. Calamari Pakoras were unusual and very satisfying. Kabuli Naan was also good - a bit decadent, sweet flatbread - as was the Nimbo Pani, which was lemonade plus a bit of proprietary flavouring. Big kudos for Chicken Salad, which is a nice fresh greens salad with a packet of tandoori chicken bites you mix in to keep from getting bored. However, the other two are delicious. CTM is the sweetest, the CK is the richest and least sweet (more savory), and the BC is right in the middle but not sweet. The Beef Samosa is delicious as always, but I tasted a raisin for the first time (not fond of raisins with savory meals, but it is still delicious). The beef samosas are spicy. The rice was very fresh and delicious, the restaurant was great, and followed all my 'asks,' written in my comments. The Kheer dessert and the Gulab Jamun mixed together are amazing. "I've already reviewed the other dishes before, so adding a review just for Chana Pulao - Sherry Mehta this time. This was an incredibly fragrant and delicious pulao, the rice was perfectly cooked long-grain basmati, and the fried onions on top gave it the authentic pulao fragrance and taste. I really enjoyed it, and the generous amount of chana (chickpeas) made it more substantial and filling. Comes with raita (yoghurt dip) on the side, which was also just perfect. Ideally I would have appreciated a slightly larger quantity of raita, because I ran out towards the end. A version of this pulao with other vegetables (potatoes, peas, carrots, cauliflower, green beans etc) would be quite delicious, I hope they add something like that to the menu."
