"We usually get tamales in the city but didn't want to take the ride, so we decided to try this place. The tamales de raja were my fave. super flavorful and delicious. They were a little spicy but not overwhelmingly so. The green and red tamales were also good. I also ordered un taco de Chile relleno and chefs kiss. the chile was stuffed with cheese to the stem and the rice in the taco was definitely a great touch. All of the food arrived piping hot. "I have loved dining at Siri for quite some time, but I recently hired them for live catering for my event, and they completely blew me away! We had a live dosa center and a live chaat center, and their team did a truly fantastic job.
I also have to give a special shoutout to the owner for saving the day. Just two days before the event, we hit a major hiccup when our venue informed us that vendors couldn't bring their own propane gas for liability reasons. I panicked, but when I called the restaurant, the owner was incredibly accommodating. He went completely out of his way to figure out how to make it work using the venue's existing gas range. Even though it wasn't his usual or ideal setup, he just made it happen flawlessly and without any complaints. I am so grateful for his flexibility and dedication!
Despite that last-minute hurdle, the execution was perfect. The quality of the dosas was absolutely amazing, and the chaat was just as great. What really stood out to me was their service. The way the food was served was perfect, and they genuinely took wonderful care of all our guests. Even with a hungry crowd, their speed and efficiency were top-notch, ensuring no one was left waiting long.
To top it all off, they are extremely reasonably priced for the incredible quality and service they provide. I can't say enough good things about this place. I would highly recommend Siri's catering to anyone—friends, family, or anyone looking to elevate their event. Thank you, Siri, for making our gathering so special!"

However, I will say that the value of the na'an is not there. For over $2, it is about the size of my hand. Usually, you expect to get na'an that is thinner and way larger. This one does not have much flavor and it is a bit dry. I believe the na'an is not worth it, and think they could make it larger. "This is my go-to place for my favorites: Lamb Sahi Korma and Rasmalai - other places sometimes add tomato to their korma sauce but Cumin - Their korma is rich, creamy bright yellow and has just a subtle tinge of heat.
Their Rasmalai are perfect: firm, but moist throughout and not grainy at all.
The Bhatura are great too - a lot of places 'fry' their naan or poori in a skillet or on a griddle, which usually just results in the bread being gross and oily instead of crispy - Cumin flash fries their bread properly so it forms these awesome big crispy bubbles.
other outstanding things I've had from here include their papadam, raita, poori, naan, garlic naan, peshwari naan and Gulaab Jaamun

"I have not done a review yet because I am new to this, and I wanted my first one to be one that I absolutely felt something about before writing a review. Udupi Palace mentions that some of its items are up to 70% less than in the area, something I found to be true only on one of my items the Mulligatawany Soup. This happens to be one of my favorite soups! I am used to looking in it and seeing a variety of ingredients in an appetizing mix with a beautiful aroma! This was a bowl of brown liquid soup with nothing noticeable in it other than broth and a few pieces of spice!
As I looked through most of the entrées, I was worried that so many of them were fried that they would not travel well. The masala dosa arrived lukewarm, and not much taste. I do not like leaving a negative review! Especially for my first one. However, I spent over a decade living blocks from Devon Avenue! Before I found the restaurant that I used to love, which moved, I spent five years or more trying many different Indian restaurants! Usually you end up with leftovers, the amount was slightly less than I am used to getting. In conclusion, I would not order from this restaurant again. I did not like sounding so harsh, but what good is a review if it is not completely honest!"
