"Unfortunately when this was delivered everything was thrown on it's side, the bag was all wet with soy sauce, and the Lollipop Roll became a smooshed together blob. The best dish was definitely the Okomomiyaki, and really the only saviour of the meal. It was fluffy with a good amount of seafood and a good value for the price. The piece of salmon was also good, though I felt it was a little bit pricey for a small piece. The lollipop roll was a disappointment, partially because they came all smooshed together on one side of the plastic container, but also because there was so little actual fish in them. For the $20 hefty price tag I definitely expected a more filling roll. Also in the photo the Hotate shows two pieces on a stick, that's not what I received, I got one piece of sashimi hotate and felt that it was very over priced. The okra and hot and sour soup were both okay but nothing special. I'd maybe order here again if it was late at night and there was nothing else open for Japanese food (and probably just opt for the Okonomiyaki), but otherwise there are definitely Japanese places that provide more bang for your buck."
"I was craving sushi so I got the gyoza and spicy Mexican roll. Gyoza was great-loved the flavor , never had cheese in mine before but didn't notice the difference in taste. However, the spicy Mexican roll was mid. The meat on top (I forget if it was salmon or tuna) didn't taste fresh. The spicy mayo added a lot of flavor but in my opinion wasn't anything special. The price wasn't worth it. I would order again especially the gyoza but try out different rolls."

"The "boneless bangus paksiw" (fish stew) that I got in my combo was definitely not boneless, so avoid that if fish bones are a problem for you. That said, the taste was on point! Not too weak, not too strong, but just right. I enjoyed it very much; it just shouldn't have "boneless" in the name. And the portion was generous - I ordered a Combination Plate with the chicken inasal and that fish stew, and I got close to a half chicken and (it looked like) most of the fish other than the head and collar. So that combo plate is an excellent value for the money. I agree with the reviewer who said the garlic rice could use more garlic, but overall this combo plate was a good time, and I made two meals out of it.
The Suman Sa Lihiya could easily be split between either two or four people. Definitely too much for one person to eat in one sitting. It comes with toppings/dippers of a brown sugar based sauce and some shredded coconut. This seemed to be the most "basic" flavor of suman from what I could tell, and I liked it, so I'll be trying other flavors.
The Lumpia Sariwa pictured here was fresh and seemed well executed. It turned out not to be a wow for me, but I could tell it was a matter of "I don't particularly care about this dish" rather than anything wrong.
Overall, as you can see there were some minor imperfections, but overall it was very worth it, and I will be trying more dishes here. This was my first time trying Filipino food, and I'm glad I picked this place. "

"This is my first time trying this place. I was craving the comfort food of my people - sinigang baboy for today's rainy day and lechon kawali. Both were delicious and truly exceeded my expectations. They were exactly what I wanted. The sinigang was the right sour and still piping hot (even with the hour delivery time which I didn't mind because it was clearly communicated from the beginning). Same with the lechon kawali, it was still crispy and the mang Tomas dipping sauce was a bonus. As a bonus to the delicious food, the price points were very reasonable and I feel like I got great value for my meal. I highly recommend this place and I can't wait to order again from this restaurant the next time I crave Filipino food!!! "

"The crab Jumbo Lump Crab Curry is always my favorite from this restaurant, one of the best Thai dishes you can find in Chicago in my opinion (and I've been to almost every Thai restaurant lol)! It is very delicious (aroi maak). The Pad Thai was also solid and a good portion if you are very hungry and looking to get filled up. I mixed in some chili flakes at home to make it more spicy and it was perfect (they may have them if you ask at the restaurant, but I don't mind using my own). I'll be coming back for the crab curry for sure!"
