"I ordered the Lamb Biryani and it was perfection. Flavorful, spiced well, generous portions of lamb layering the bottom of the tray, and enough for three-four meals (for one person). If you've eaten in, you know this place is a hole in the wall attached to a small grocery store. It reminds me of the places in Korea that are open for long hours and cater to cab drivers and folks working night shifts by offering wholesome meals for cheap and without any frills. This is exactly what you get with Shan's. No frills, delicious food that is going to fill you up without emptying your wallet. Highly recommend."

"The Crab Curry was definitely the standout item for me, nicely spiced and with a very large portion of crab for the price. The Saag Paneer we had asked for spicy but it really wasn't spicy at all, though we still enjoyed it. I found the Murgh Sagwala to be too salty for my taste. I would have preferred it to be more spicy than salty, which I thought it would be from the description. The food was packaged very nicely in a paper bag and good containers, thank you for no styrofoam! Overall, I prefer spicier Indian food (guess I need to go to Devon for that) but I'd come back to order the crab curry again. If you prefer a more mild take on Indian food this place might be perfect for you though! Maybe if you eat at the restaurant rather than delivery they can make it more spicy, I'll have to investigate more if I am ever in the area and craving Indian food."

However, I will say that the value of the na'an is not there. For over $2, it is about the size of my hand. Usually, you expect to get na'an that is thinner and way larger. This one does not have much flavor and it is a bit dry. I believe the na'an is not worth it, and think they could make it larger. The butter chicken itself is a smaller container, but for the price getting it delivered it is fair. I would come back again to try something new!"
