The "Chicken & Tenders" Family Meal is a pretty good value. FAR MORE CHICKEN (& more biscuits) than you get with the equivalently priced family meal at KFC or at Popeye's.
Chicken is very tasty, moist, & the deep-fry batter/coating is not overwhelming. ...it ADDS to the taste of the delicious chicken, instead of over-powering it.
Biscuits are TO DIE FOR! FAR BETTER than the dry "hockey pucks" that KFC & Popeye's serve.
Wedge Fries are excellent. ...not overly greasy, don't get soggy, & leftovers should reheat well.

The ribs were on point. They had real smoke and real flavor. The baked beans are sweet and savory and cooked to perfection. And the Mac and cheese ???? Omg!!! Just order.. & last but not least ! Also to give someone one corn piece of cornbread for $45 I think is a bit ridiculous cause I think that one would assume that a three-way would be shared between at least two people. "If you can get past the name of this place, I highly recommend it! Just know that this is NOT Texas BBQ and as far as I can tell, the meat's not even barbecued but grilled. But with those little details out of the way, the food is nonetheless delicious! I got the 2-meat BBQ Meat Combo with lamb and chicken. The lamb is cubed and cooked on skewers (you get 4), and you get a bunch of chicken! These sit on a huge pile of basic fried rice (rice fried with soy sauce) and a scoop of potato salad. It's a lot of food! And much more than I could finish. The lamb is seasoned perfectly with plenty of cumin and Chinese 5-spice, while the chicken is marinated with a slightly sweet sauce and it's super tender! "

"Sadly, tried a couple times and the meat always arrives very overcooked. Last order was mesquite chicken and the dark meat was overcooked it had that thick layer under the skin. The breast and wing were inedible.
However, the gumbo is excellent. Some of the best I had in the Bay area. Would only ever order that in the future."
