"Just had the "Special you" dinner set from Thai tonight and, guys, it's so good! Started off with a crispy veggie roll that was perfectly crunchy. Moved on to a Massaman curry that was absolutely spot on-the meat was tender, and the potatoes and carrots cooked just right, all in a creamy and nicely spiced sauce that really hit the spot. Topped it off with their signature coconut caramel cookie, which was probably the best cookie I've ever had. And the Thai iced tea? Major win. It's creamy, sweet, and super refreshing-honestly the best Thai tea in town. It seriously made my night. Can't recommend it enough!"
"The Crispy Wontons (5 Pcs) were perfectly crispy! The Coconut Thai Iced Tea arrived in a fun bag with a bendy straw. The Pad Thai was soooo good! Nice and saucy with lots of peanuts. And the Vegan Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookies arrived so warm and gooey. My entire order was perfect and even was delivered faster than the estimated time- I can't wait to order again!"

"Consistently my favorite! For me, it portions out to two meals. So perfectly cooked! The chicken is browned yet still tender, the vegetables have some crispiness but are not too tough, and the fried rice is perfect, just enough sauce that it is tender, yet not oily. The squid is always fresh and it's sauce is very flavorful and generous. In fact, there's plenty of flavorful sauce with every component! The egg rolls were crisped, perfectly and fully cooked inside, again, it's sauce is well balanced, sweet and tangy! Please give them a try!!"
"The side Fried Noodles is too small for just dried out noodles. The sauce on your plain noodles is not enough. When the Fried Noodles arrive, they are dry. More sauce is needed. "Ordered the beef pho, Rice vermicelli - Bun Rieu and the banh mi. All were delicious and great quality. Extremely filling and very flavorful."
"Made an order Christmas evening for a quick family dinner before heading out to the movies. The cold cut banh mi for the price was good. But there was hardly any meat let alone the main ingredient. Mayo and pate . I kid you not when I open up the banh mi I was so confused on what kind of banh mi it was. No mayo, barely any pate, the two cold cuts meat were so thinly slice. I was better off going to Wawa for a hoagie.
Ordered the pho with the flank and meatballs. Ended up with shank instead. Kids would not eat the shank as they wanted meatballs.
Wonton soup broth was straight sesame oil ... the wonton itself was okay.
Rice platter my husband didnt even eat..he said the "grilled" pork wasnt grilled but rather precooked then microwaved. Had a chewy texture.
Spring rolls were the best thing they had offered. Actually best I have tried around the area that isnt filled loaded with taro as a substitute to fill the egg roll . "

"58. Vegetable Egg Foo Young (菜圆蛋) was bland, thin on the eggs and lacked any flavor. Not terrible, just ok. 1. Cheese Steak Roll had hardly any steak or cheese. Egg 1b. Plain Egg Roll (菜卷) was also light on the filling; both rolls were gummy. Cheeseburger (汉堡) was dry and lacked any flavor. Mostly a large bun with a small disc of unseasoned mystery meat. "I've tried this place a few times now and it's been a letdown every time. The fried wantons are too thick and chewy, the wings taste gamey, and the general tsos chicken (C12) sauce tastes like someone whispered "siracha" at some simple syrup. I really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt but it's just bad."
"Only getting Chinese food from this place when I'm in the city from now on. Best 46. Chicken Lo Mein I've ever had. So flavorful! C14. Sesame Chicken was delicious as well and my boyfriend enjoyed his C12. General Tso's Chicken too!"

"Fried Crab Rangoon we're perfect, fresh and a sizable portion (about 6). The Orange Flavored chicken is delicious, not too sweet but a good citrus flavor"
"Order from here on and off. Food hasn't been consistent lately. Beef with Broccoli sauce wasn't thickened. Tasted watered down and was thin. Beef with Garlic Sauce had allot more veggies and no heat at all. Beef Fried Rice didn't have much flavor either. Shrimp egg rolls were dry and looked old. Hoping this was just a bad day. Food is usually fresh and tasty."

"We got the Curried Chicken with Rice w. Onion and Sizzling Beef with Black Pepper. Both were very good and very filling. They tasted incredible and were still hot as hell. I only wish the Curried Chicken with Rice w. Onion was more spicy."
"I’ve been coming to Penang for years and used to be a frequent customer for both dine-in and takeout. It was always one of my favorite local restaurants, which makes it especially disappointing to say that my last two experiences (including today’s) have convinced me that the quality of both the food and service has declined significantly. Whether it’s due to new ownership, poor management, or a lack of staff training, something has clearly changed.
I placed a takeout order for 9 items and was quoted an estimated pickup time of 1 hour. That’s an unusually long wait, especially on a Tuesday at 4pm when the restaurant was nearly empty. When I arrived, there were only three occupied tables, making the wait even harder to understand.
The pickup experience was equally disappointing. A server pointed me toward the front counter, but no one was there. I stood waiting for nearly 5 minutes before someone finally came over, even though my food had already been packed and was sitting behind the counter.
The packaging showed a complete lack of care. While the individual containers were fine, the entire order was crammed into a single brown paper bag filled to the top, with containers sticking up near the handles. There was no way the bag could be carried safely without risking it tearing. I politely asked if they could split the order into two bags. Instead of helping, the employee gave me a dirty look, handed me an empty second bag after I had already paid, and told me to repack it myself. That should never be the customer’s responsibility. It should have been packaged properly from the start.
Unfortunately, the food has declined as well. The roti canai, which used to be one of my favorites, was a huge disappointment. The roti itself was rubbery, and the curry dipping sauce was so watered down that it lacked the rich flavor it was once known for. Other dishes also seemed noticeably smaller while prices have continued to increase. I understand inflation affects restaurants, but this felt more like cutting corners than simply adjusting prices.
What disappoints me most is that Penang used to stand out for both its food and hospitality. Now the customer service feels indifferent, the attention to detail is gone, and the food no longer justifies the prices.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but after two consistently poor experiences, I can no longer recommend this restaurant. It’s unfortunate to see a place that was once so reliable decline to this extent."

"This is, perhaps, the best most flavorful Chinese food I have had. The food is consistently delicious! I have only had the W1 Bourbon Chicken as a main meal because it is just that good! "I got the 26. Shrimp Lo Mein & the 2. Shrimp Egg Roll. Both are sooo good. I didn't even need to add soy sauce to my lo mein, that's how good it is. "The Curry Karaage Chicken was exactly what I was looking for. Just a straightforward, no frills bowl of flavorful friend chicken and a very nice curry sauce on the side. It also came with a harty portion of rice"
"Just a little expensive for what you get, $10 for the karrage chicken was a really small portion and $16 for the King Salmon special roll and that wasnt as big as we thought it would be, special rolls are usually a little bigger than a usual roll, and this one was about the size of a California roll. The ramen was tasty and a good portion for $16 in our opinion. Sushi sampler was also appropriate for $11."

"I highly recommend the C12. General Tso's Chicken. w/the shrimp fried rice it was delicious and well cooked the chicken was tender and I had at least 12 shrimp in my rice which was a plus in my eyes because usually Chinese restaurants only give you 2 pieces of shrimp but not this place I will be ordering again very soon one of the best Chinese restaurants on DoorDash "
"love everything I have eaten here. Appreciate the variety of menu items, thr value for the money, the slightly different flavor profiles for some classic dishes (general tsos has a bit of a orange citrus taste which I enjoy, especially with tofu)!, appreciate being able to specify allergens with the dan dan noodles and the portion sizes being large for vegetarian entrees!

"Everything is always hot and delicious. One of my go-tos is the Lotus Sticky Rice Chicken Wrap (3) 糯米鸡. It's chicken and mushrooms wrapped in sticky rice, a perfect comfort food. The Spicy Cucumber Salad 绝味黄瓜 was fresh and crisp, it had a kick to it too."
"Besides the 47 minute delay.... the food was still warm and pretty tasty! First time trying both dishes, the Pork Soup Dumplings (6) 灌汤小笼包 still had soup and solid texture, not a fan of the dip. The Tom Yum Dumplings Soup 冬阴汤包汤 wasn't too spicy for me but my tolerance is strong, but the flavor was amazing!"

"Food was very disappointing. Very bland. The only thing that was good was the white rice. The chicken fried rice was dry and the carrots tasted like they had freezer burn.
