"Best vegan breakfast ive had in a longgg time! The BYO Breakfast Sandwich was flavorful, filling, and didnt fall apart as you ate it. The Caffè Latte may be the smoothest and tastiest coffee ive ever had and dont get me started on the Lemon Blueberry Scone (V)

"Consistently my favorite! For me, it portions out to two meals. So perfectly cooked! The chicken is browned yet still tender, the vegetables have some crispiness but are not too tough, and the fried rice is perfect, just enough sauce that it is tender, yet not oily. The squid is always fresh and it's sauce is very flavorful and generous. In fact, there's plenty of flavorful sauce with every component! The egg rolls were crisped, perfectly and fully cooked inside, again, it's sauce is well balanced, sweet and tangy! Please give them a try!!"
"The side Fried Noodles is too small for just dried out noodles. The sauce on your plain noodles is not enough. When the Fried Noodles arrive, they are dry. More sauce is needed. "I couldn't post all the photos I took, first let me start by saying every piece of sushi needed its own photo with how beautifully it was prep. This was the best sushi I had in a long time. Very fresh ingredients and the flavor was outstanding. All the rolls was packed they wasn't cheap with the portion size. My daughters was getting full after a few pieces. I loved them all, I can't just pick one so I'll just continue to order them all. I'm definitely ordering again!"

"SO GOOD! I ordered at 10:13PM (they stop taking orders at 10: 15PM) but still, it was amazing! I used to eat sushi a lot. LOL, one place when I walked in the greeter would yell "Big sushi eater!" 😅 so I know sushi and this place does it right. I wasn't the biggest fan of the miso soup which was by no means bad. I ordered the 2. Sushi Deluxe and the 19. Eel & Avocado Roll and they were top notch quality. I will definitely be ordering again!"
"the Dinner 3 Rolls Special was literally "fine." one piece, seen at the lower right, had a whisper of salmon in it. many of the other pieces were mainly bites of rice. the salmon in the salmon-avocado roll didn't even look or taste the same as the plain salmon roll. (not because of the avocado. not my first time eating sushi.)
a questionable choice to consume.
the 1. Miso Soup was literally just warm water. not sure it they didn't add enough paste/base, but it tasted like dish water. no tofu, maybe two pieces of seaweed, and flavorless. you wouldn't believe so based off of the color... imagine how i felt.
i'm a regular customer to this restaurant and have never been so disappointed. "

Edamame had perfect amount of salt."
"Spicy Ramen was the best I've had. Seafood taste comes through in the broth, pork was amazing, broth was top notch. Subtle creaminess came through more than a few of the other places I've had for a Tonkotsu broth. 10/10"

"The Curry Karaage Chicken was exactly what I was looking for. Just a straightforward, no frills bowl of flavorful friend chicken and a very nice curry sauce on the side. It also came with a harty portion of rice"
"Just a little expensive for what you get, $10 for the karrage chicken was a really small portion and $16 for the King Salmon special roll and that wasnt as big as we thought it would be, special rolls are usually a little bigger than a usual roll, and this one was about the size of a California roll. The ramen was tasty and a good portion for $16 in our opinion. Sushi sampler was also appropriate for $11."

"The sushi here was excellent! I ordered the California roll and the shrimp tempura, and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better Friday night dinner. "We got the Curried Chicken with Rice w. Onion and Sizzling Beef with Black Pepper. Both were very good and very filling. They tasted incredible and were still hot as hell. I only wish the Curried Chicken with Rice w. Onion was more spicy."
"I’ve been coming to Penang for years and used to be a frequent customer for both dine-in and takeout. It was always one of my favorite local restaurants, which makes it especially disappointing to say that my last two experiences (including today’s) have convinced me that the quality of both the food and service has declined significantly. Whether it’s due to new ownership, poor management, or a lack of staff training, something has clearly changed.
I placed a takeout order for 9 items and was quoted an estimated pickup time of 1 hour. That’s an unusually long wait, especially on a Tuesday at 4pm when the restaurant was nearly empty. When I arrived, there were only three occupied tables, making the wait even harder to understand.
The pickup experience was equally disappointing. A server pointed me toward the front counter, but no one was there. I stood waiting for nearly 5 minutes before someone finally came over, even though my food had already been packed and was sitting behind the counter.
The packaging showed a complete lack of care. While the individual containers were fine, the entire order was crammed into a single brown paper bag filled to the top, with containers sticking up near the handles. There was no way the bag could be carried safely without risking it tearing. I politely asked if they could split the order into two bags. Instead of helping, the employee gave me a dirty look, handed me an empty second bag after I had already paid, and told me to repack it myself. That should never be the customer’s responsibility. It should have been packaged properly from the start.
Unfortunately, the food has declined as well. The roti canai, which used to be one of my favorites, was a huge disappointment. The roti itself was rubbery, and the curry dipping sauce was so watered down that it lacked the rich flavor it was once known for. Other dishes also seemed noticeably smaller while prices have continued to increase. I understand inflation affects restaurants, but this felt more like cutting corners than simply adjusting prices.
What disappoints me most is that Penang used to stand out for both its food and hospitality. Now the customer service feels indifferent, the attention to detail is gone, and the food no longer justifies the prices.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but after two consistently poor experiences, I can no longer recommend this restaurant. It’s unfortunate to see a place that was once so reliable decline to this extent."

"Absolutely LOVE, everything I have ordered from here has been great. I favor the Spicy Kani Roll with Crunch, not really spicy and perfect. The crab/cheese wontons are the best I have ever had. Its consistent. never a bad experience. So glad I found my new favorite place "
"The sushi rolls are fresh and taste great, especially the spicy ramen, which is surprisingly authentic and delicious. Although there is nothing special about the packaging of the food but everything is seal tight from the box to the paper bag i feel safe to even have it delivered since the safety of food delivery nowadays isn't the best . I will continue to patronize this store"

"This place is 10/10. The sushi is so flavorful. The packaging amazing. The size of the rolls were huge which I love. The fish tasted so fresh and I would absolutely order again. The picture doesn't do justice. Door dash makes the packaging look a little messy but it's beautiful. I love the mystery aspect."

"Incredible sushi for a great price. Tastes fresh and makes everyone in our household happy. Tuna Lovers entree is great value; Tiger Roll is delicious, and we are collectively addicted to the seaweed salad!"
"The food was subpar. The noodles were tasteless. The torch roll was not seared. The fish just looked brown and old. The fish inside the roll seemed to be highly mixed with something creamy so it was a huge mouthful of mush. Def not worth what we paid. "
