I was hesitant to order because it's hard to find a place that seasons the chicken well and avoids leaving that gamey smell, but this place surpassed my expectations. More like a low sugar milk drink not much tea. The most disappointing thing was the fresh SUMMER ROLLS with shrimp. One medium size shrimp cut into pieces and what looked like it had just been added at last minute. It was just a couple leafs of lettuce wrapped up with a couple chunks of shrimp. Then wrapped with a piece of rice wrap. Cut into half. No other vegetables or flavor. This was then just wrapped in plastic wrap and thrown in the bag with the hot rice and curry."

Thalapakattu Chicken Biryani — OMG! A MUST TRY!
This was the highlight for me. I would definitely call it one of the chef’s specialties. The aroma was wonderful, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the chicken was tender and packed with flavor. The spices were beautifully balanced, and every single bite was delicious. If you visit, I absolutely recommend trying this biryani!
I genuinely haven’t had Indian food this authentic and delicious in years. The flavors are rich, traditional, and full of character—you can taste the quality and care that goes into the food. I would easily rank this among the top Indian food experiences in Nashville.
What made our visit even more memorable was meeting Chef Ram personally while picking up the order. He was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. What impressed me most was seeing how carefully he listened to each customer’s preferred spice level and customized the food accordingly. He genuinely cared about making sure every guest enjoyed their meal exactly the way they wanted it.
That combination of authentic food, incredible flavors, and genuinely warm hospitality made this such a memorable experience.

Roti was too greasy. Both the side of roti and my Chicken Masala Wrap was greasy. The wrap was cooked finely shredded chicken that had a tough but tolerable texture from sitting in a hot oil pan for too long. The Indian spicy masala sauce was very good, but a little too sweet and savy. It reminds me of barbecue sauce. Included Green Cucumber sauce helped balance it out because of its similarities to creamy ranch. Anda Pulav and Boiled Kheemo was good, however, both had one thing each other needed. Pulav needed more bold flavors but all the ingredients pair nicely. Boiled Kheemo has an option to come with a side of rice but I feel like it would benefit being mixed with the rice by default. Overall, food was good and makes you feel full quick because of all the protein. I think I would order again but not get any of the dishes on todays order again. None of them stood out to me."

I'm really particular with my Indian food since I grew up on it through home cooking. Finding a good Indian restaurant where the food tastes authentic, doesn't hold back on the spice when asked to make it spicier, and seems to be always cooked fresh without a frozen or microwaved meat taste, is very, very hard. "Delicious! I ordered the Butter Chicken and Malabar parotta, both of which were phenomenally good. The main dish was very generously portioned for the price (I realized that I was going to have leftovers), and despite a nearly 20 minute transit, it was all still piping hot on arrival.
If you are wondering what the "native" level spice is, it is quite hot, but not uncomfortably so for the folks that enjoy heat.
