"Butter chicken was lovely, not too tomato-ey. The curry comes with its own side of basmati rice which was nice, the garlic Naan wasn't too strong and stayed soft after a couple hours as well. I got medium on the curry but the veggie Samosa carried a slightly stronger (but still so good) kick than my main meal. All together, even if it's not technically labeled as the cheapest Indian restaurant it is certainly the cheapest and most worth it for its portion size and quality. "
"The Classic Butter Chicken was flavorful and the rice had cardamom in it, which I love. Butter Naan was fresh. The rice and Classic Butter Chicken came in 16 oz containers. Medium spice was perfect. Only thing I wish I knew beforehand was that rice was included. I ordered an extra side of rice and the container was bigger than my meal and other rice combined! Otherwise very happy with my order. "the Chicken Biryani had 3 tiny pieces of chicken in it. previously when we ordered it they had full drumsticks and thighs per serving.
the Kebab Chutney Grill Special Karahi Gosht had mainly sauce in it and with like 5 pieces of meat.
they quality of food has decreased der at this place almost twice a month and the last two times the food has been subpar.
same thing goes for the Chicken Tikka Masala. mainly sauce and 4 small pieces of chicken.
Highly disappointed"

"Chicken Malai (8 PC) was amazingly tender, and the pieces were nice and big. Definitely a new favorite!"
"I was so excited to try this restaurant. The food tasted amazing but unfortunately it was too spicy to even eat comfortably with naan, rice and raita (which I whipped up myself). The delicious rice was delicious, the sesame naan was amazing, as was the tandoori chicken but the chicken was way too spicy. The Chana and Dahl were also flavorful but also too spicy to eat comfortably. And to be clear I like spicy food. There was also no way to alter the level of heat. Otherwise it was delicious. I did end up ordering something else… yes, it was that hot.🥵 "

"This is my favorite take out spot in Sacramento, I order here twice a month and they're always consistent. Food arrives hot, everything is really flavorful. Kadai paneer is like a heartier tikka masala paneer. Love the fish pakora. This place ways hits and the food is solidly packaged."
"10/10! Everything was super flavorful and seasoned to perfection. The portions also seemed a little on the smaller side, but for the price? Definitely fulfilling and worth it. Their Gulab Jamun is one of my favorites that I always crave, but I just wish it came with more. I'm also not sure if it was intentional, but they gave me some butter chicken on the side which I was super grateful for. Definitely coming here again! Taste was superb. "

"The Butter Chicken (GF) is hearty. I picked no spice and it's perfect. It's not as creamy as I'm used to, but it has a lot of chicken in it and is still very good. The Plain Naan/Butter Naan is very soft and cooked perfectly.. I added on a side of the basmati rice and it's the perfect size for the amount of the butter chicken. i would order from here again. It was about $8 less than the 2 other restaurants we priced out with the same things. "

"Tasty but value does not align with the amount you get.
I got the half order Tandoori chicken, 36. Butter Chicken, and 48. Garlic Naan . The butter chicken was mostly sauce with 7 chunks of chicken. It is a bit more tomato tasting than I prefer, but still good. You do get a small side of rice which is nice. But for almost $60 for the total order, I would hope for a little more. The tandoori chicken was tangy and good. The garlic naan was good but you only get two large pieces. Most other places give you four from what I've seen. Overall, I enjoyed. Just would have liked a bit more for the price I paid. I would order again if I felt like splurging.
Note: the photo shows two pieces of tandoori eaten, 1 piece of garlic naan eaten, and half the butter chicken and rice. But I wanted to show the packaging sizes."
"This place always hits the spot! Doesn't matter if you get it on your worst or best day it stays consistent. It's a great portion for two, if you like dipping your naan get two orders. The food always comes to me super hot and the ingredients are always fresh. Will stay coming back!"

Wish there was more sauce with it but aside from that it was good . "I ordered the Chicken curry and Garlic Naan . The taste was perfect they had good flavor but the price for the value was a thumbs down. the dish came in a very small quart type size container with about four pieces of chicken that seemed more like a chicken nugget size in the sauce although great tasting served more like a soup with a couple chicken pieces. for the price to what you receive I think could definitely be improved. I'd love to see maybe an addition of maybe a side of rice or something. with other competition and restaurants willing to ensure price to value I don't see myself returning. the dish looked nothing like the picture. If you're trying to decide between two places I would definitely try another place. I'm judging based on the portion in the amount paid for that portion."

"Everest Chili Pepper is a gem for this kind of food in the area.
The spice is tasteful and helps accentuate the flavor, instead of spicy just to be spicy. I normally get an 8/10 spiciness that is the perfect level for me.

"The samosas were cold by the time I got the food, and I realize I live a bit far, but my momos were warm. "Had a best meal it was full of taste . I would recommend to you guys to try this place it is the best . Will visit again "
"On the positive side, the sauces were very flavorful and colorful and it was very well packaged. The issue was with the quality of the chicken and rice. The rice seemed old and definitely not what I'm use to from an Indian restaurant but to be fair it was included with the entree where other places you order separate. The chicken also didn't taste super fresh either. I was almost afraid to eat it so ate a couple of pieces only. I didn't think it was horrible but since you can only rate didn't like, liked or loved, I have to lean towards the side of didn't like. Ordered here for the first time by mistake so perhaps it's normally fresher."

"Absolutely amazing and so tasty! It was really buttery and cooked to perfection! "
"I was quite disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The butter chicken was underwhelming—it tasted overly sweet, more like a generic kitchen curry made with store-bought sauces than an authentic North Indian version. It lacked the rich, buttery depth and subtle spice balance I’d expect, and the spice level was virtually nonexistent despite requesting medium.
More frustrating was the chicken tikka order: the menu clearly stated boneless chicken with vegetables, but we received bone-in pieces instead. When we contacted the restaurant about the mistake and requested a refund, they refused.
Overall, the food seemed catered more toward a milder, perhaps South Indian-inspired palate rather than traditional North Indian flavors. If you’re craving authentic butter chicken, I’d recommend looking elsewhere."

"Chicken Zinger Burger Meal was huge and delicious with a large amount of delicious fries!
Chicken Shawarma was seriously disappointing. It looked and tasted like "chicken salad " in pita bread and dripping of mayonnaise!
Mango Lassi was warm and thin .
Cheese Burger was small but made to my specifications and was delicious
"
"I got the burger and it tasted like old meat. When I arrived the employee was super rude and disrespectful. I won't be ordering from there again. Fries were amazing tho"

"Why has no one ever told me that you could get your naan filled WITH potatoes?!? I may never be able to eat them any other way! The Aloo Naan was so good and tender! The sauce that was served with the pani Golgappa (Pani Puri) were crispy and the saucec was so flavorful (only complaint is that my mouth was too small to 1 bite them). the Chicken Tikka Masala is one of the best I've had and I will definitely be ordering from here again"

"The Vegie Samosa which I'll admit, I wasn't expecting much from KNOCKED ME OUT ! The pastry was rich and flakey, the filling had just the right ratio of spice and salt. I don't write reviews. This was good! The Butter Chicken Pasta was creamy and flavorful. Both a part of their Happy Hour DD Menu (thank you!) so a nice value too. My first visit but won't be my last. YUM."

"5/5 exceptional service meets great taste with fresh, quality ingredients & the Lunch Special - 2 was so reasonable. Trying to cut back on the Dairy, I called to ask if they could swap vegan cheese & not only did they agree, they were super kind. Definitely keeping this restaurant on repeat because you just have to support this level of effort put into both service & product. "
"I went with the Curry Chicken Masala . good flavor. Fresh tasting ingredients. I was able to finish the Medium on my own and I was quite satisfied. If I had gotten the small, I don't know if it would still be the case. I was quite hungry though."

"It is very difficult to find good Middle Eastern food. This food was good. The Falafel Plate was very good. The falafel were not dry, and were tasty. The rice portion was a generous and also tasted good. The Afghan Bread is HUGE. I thought it was going to be pita sized so I got two. One bread is the size of three pitas! It was delivered warm and complimented the falafels well. I would recommend. 4 stars."

"Honestly I have given this place a second chance and I was disappointed

Very disappointed"

⭐️ 1-Star Review — If You Enjoy Being Lied To, Overcharged, and Argued With… This Is Your Place
Velly Pizza Roseville deserves an award — not for their food, but for the Olympic-level mental gymnastics they perform to avoid honoring their own coupons. We told them clearly over the phone that we were using their 30% OFF coupon. “Sure, no problem!” they said.
Fast-forward to pickup: suddenly the owner has selective memory, pretends the coupon doesn’t exist, and demands full price. Impressive. Truly. A masterclass in bait-and-switch.
And the food? We ordered mild pizza for kids — you know, mild, as in “not spicy.” Instead they gave us a pizza so loaded with hot peppers it should come with a fire extinguisher. Even adults couldn’t eat it. When we called back to get it fixed, they didn’t apologize… they argued, blamed us, and refused to remake it. Lovely customer service—if your goal is to lose customers.
But wait, it gets better. They also sneak in credit card upcharges disguised as delivery fees, even when you’re picking up. Very bold. Nothing says “trust us” like mystery fees for services you didn’t receive.
If you enjoy being misled, overcharged, and talked down to, you’ll love it here.
If you prefer actual customer service, honesty, and edible food, go to Tandoori Pizza, where they somehow manage the groundbreaking concept of treating customers like humans."
