"Cake Crumbs has gone downhill since the new ownership (which has been years now). They changed recipes and things have never been as good. Their buttercream frosting was amazing prior to the sale of the business, now it's grocery store quality and flavor. They have tried to diversify with food, but it just misses the mark. Our family always enjoyed the cupcakes and custom cakes, which is what they were good at, but now we can do better just about anywhere. Also, the used to make a peanut butter bar that was to die for, but that's long gone."

"As long as they don't leave any burn/char marks on your pretzel, you won't find or taste a better pretzel anywhere. Wow. The most amazing combination of butter and pretzel and cinnamon I've ever tasted. Much better than the more popular Auntie Annie's Cinnabon pretzels! Once in a while Wetzel overcooks it a bit but 9 times out of 10 it's perfectly doughy and soft inside and perfectly toasted on the outside. Usually too much cinnamon sugar is layered on there for my liking, but I don't mind because I can always just easily shake some of the cinnamon off but my GF prefers when they load it up with the extra cinnamon.
