The filling (which that day was a classic beef) was incredibly savory, well-seasoned, and juicy. It wasn't a dry empanada at all; every bite was comforting and delicious. A 10/10 start!
Arroz Chaufa con Carne (Beef Fried Rice)
Next, I tried the Arroz Chaufa con Carne. This is not just any fried rice; it's a masterpiece of Chifa (Peruvian-Chinese fusion) cuisine. The rice had that unmistakable smoky "wok hei" flavor that is so hard to achieve. The pieces of beef were tender and mixed beautifully with the rice, scrambled eggs, and fresh green onions. It was flavorful, satisfying, and perfectly balanced. I could eat an entire plate of this without stopping.
Tallarín a la Huancaína con Lomo Saltado (Huancaína-Style Noodles with Saltado Steak)
Finally, the star of the show: the Tallarín a la Huancaína con Lomo Saltado. What an incredible combination! The pasta was perfectly cooked "al dente" and bathed in a creamy, velvety Huancaína sauce, which had just the right balance of fresh cheese, ají amarillo (yellow chili), and a subtle spicy kick.
But topping that pasta with Lomo Saltado is pure genius. The steak was tender, juicy, and stir-fried to the exact point, with that characteristic smoky flavor, accompanied by red onions and tomatoes that still retained their texture. The combination of the creamy pasta sauce with the savory juices from the lomo saltado was simply divine. It's a hearty dish, packed with flavor, and
absolutely unforgettable.

"taste and packaging was good, but portion sizes were small, especially with regards to meat. I got the green curry with shrimp, and there were only 4 shrimp. It was mostly sauce with a few veggies, but green curry usually has eggplant to bulk up the dish, and this version didn't even have that! The pad thai with chicken was a bit more substantial, but also only had a few pieces of meat for the whole serving."

"Got the "juicy" pork buns and they taste delicious. The quotes around juicy was the fact no juice came out when I took a nibble of the dumpling. Mind you this could have been due to the juice being absorbed during transport. Other than that, really good. "I've been getting Thai food from here for years, and it has always been delicious! The food is consistently fresh, and the flavors are amazing. I was always a little bummed that they weren’t on DoorDash since I tend to order delivery more often now with my busy work schedule. So, I was super excited to see them on here!

"The main flavor in this Tom Kha Gai appears to be bottled lime juice. The coconut milk flavor is barely present. There appears to be a tiny amount of lemongrass, but very little chicken, zero cilantro and no trace of glangla either. It should be creamy. This is just watery. Not sure how to fix this up to make it taste good, right now it was nearly$17 wasted for some lemon coconut water with a chicken wing's worth of meat in it and a cup of uncooked mushrooms.
