"The 4 Pollo / Chicken Tacos were hearty, the Tortilla was soft and sturdy. The Flautas were enjoyable and had a nice crispy roll with a generous portion of toppings. The Grilled Cactus / Spring Onion / Chile Combo was fresh and char-grilled perfectly, it was as you should expect. Guacamole with Chips was also a hearty portion, fresh and crispy chips, and the guac had something special to the flavor making it one of the best in the area we've tried. Our drinks were all delicious, the Tamarindo / Tamarind and Jamaica / Hibiscus were very enjoyable in particular, and the Horchata was good. The Chicken soup / Sopa de Pollo had a beautiful home-made smell and lots of soothing flavor. This restaurant was a nice find!"

"From left to right: Vegan Mushroom Carnitas , Vegan Black Magic, and Vegan Papas De Tamarindo . The tacos were prepared and arrived pretty quickly especially for a Friday night. Everything was extremely fresh and well prepared. I can see why the black magic is one of their best sellers - this one absolutely BLEW MY MIND. All of these were really delicious but that was a show stopper. The beans have incredible flavor and every topping makes sense. The Mexican Indian fusion for this taco is absolutely perfect and hard to describe in any other way. The papas de tamarindo was really good and the mushroom carnitas were great. The tacos are pretty hefty, too. I'll definitely be ordering again soon and can't wait to try more of the menu."

"I love Tacowala, I have been coming here and ordering since they opened. I have had most of the menu and liked all of it,but my favorite has to be the Masala Chorizo Bow, and the Birria Quesadillas.
