"So this is my first time trying Smash House llc. The burger is overcooked for me and the crispy edges are a little too hard for my taste. Although ordered via DoorDash and it took a minute to get my order but it was good. I will definitely try the restaurant again before tossing it aside but I'll definitely try again. Fries were decent. The sauted onions are too greasy for me so I'll definitely hold them off on my next order. Tried my smash patty melt on sourdough with cheddar cheese instead of America cheese option. Can't taste the difference. Tastes like American cheese. It's a decent meal. Good portion size. Wife and l shred a regular fries."

I got the stupidest saddest hoggie I've ever seen in my life. it wasn't even 5 inches long. the cheese wasn't the same cheese that was writen in the description. instead of the cheese being in the roll. the cheese was on the wrapper. not a single bit of the cheese was in the roll. half of what little meat was on the roll was in the cheese stuck to the wrapper. it was a pathetic amount of meat in the meal. there's no option to remove the frys which btw ive counted them, there was 12 frys in a large container. the container was 4 times larger than the roll and I don't understand why the roll wasn't just inside the container with the frys. I will not order from this place again. you can go down the road to Jerry's and purchase a double size cheesesteak for 10 whole dollars"

"STAY AWAY FROM THEIR Cream of Crab Soup! My family is originally from New England, I was born and raised just outside DC, in MD, while spending enough time in Baltimore that it became like a second home. So basically it is illegal not to like seafood, especially lobster and crab. I've loved cream of crab soup since I was a young child and when trying out a new restaurant w/it on the menu I will usually try it.
While we have ordered from this restaurant several times in the past, I had not yet tried their cream of crab soup. Now I have had some unfortunate ccs in my life, however this was, by far the worst. To start off with it wasn't even close to the consistency of soup, cream based or not. Instead, it was the consistency of puréed potatoes, like baby food or overly mixed mashed potatoes. This is in absolutely no way an exaggeration. I know it's not easy to run a restaurant and would never want to harm a business w/a bad review unless the food was uneatable, which unfortunately their cream of crab soup was. Besides the consistency being so thick that it stayed stuck to my spoon when I turned it upside down. My husband initially thought it was the Creamy Crab Dip he ordered bc of how heavy the container was. The taste was also off.
As for the Creamy Crab Dip it's ok, but amazing . My husband likes it it a little bit better than I do bc he has ordered it before. Idk why bc it never gets finished. It also not that creamy and they use too much cream cheese. I do think it's probably much better if it's just out of the kitchen so I would only order this if I was eating at the restaurant.
We order from here bc my husband really likes the Fresh Rockfish Sandwhich. This is the place we order from when I'm not that hungry and tell him to pick a place. Their onion rings are fantastic so I will order a ceasar salad which is also good with a side of onion rings.
If you want dessert their Smith Island cake is delicious. Sometimes we get a slice to split but always end up fighting over the lasts few bites lol. You should probably just get two slices. "

"Ordered here probably a hundred times 75/25 shot to get their crispy bomb version of their fries or an overcooked/soggy mess. Shaved prime rib is great, voodoo chicken great ,fish and chips can be iffy sometimes on quality, their burgers are great too. The fish also seem kind of small recently for what I'm paying I don't wana still be hungry when I'm done. A third piece would benefit it nicely. Overall I'd say the food is good most of the time , but inconsistent other times."
