"Overall, I get the essence of home... an authentic dish from my titi's house. However, sometimes the pernil is absolutely perfect and other times it's very dry. The only time we get the right amount of rice is if we ask for no salad. I find the salad to be a waste because it's already dressed and arrives soggy. We love salad, just not soggy. I understand the restaurant uses good containers but they are children sized portions for quite a bit of money. I dine at fine restaurants and well appointed restaurants where the dishes are more expensive than their street counterparts, but the portions and the quality of the food command the prices. I would increase my rating to at least a four if mi amigos would consider improving their portions and making sure the pernil is succulent each time. Gracias!!"

"Ive never ordered from here, however I dont think ill order tacos again from here. They're not bad flavor wise there just skimped meat wise. Also no red sauce and the green sauce is very liquidly, the other place I order from charges the same amount an overfills the tacos. The meat knish and potato pancakes were so flavorful. The knish was flaky and savory. The Red Velvet Pancakes were insanely good. They were almost an inch thick and tasted just like the cake. "They're not bad but I wouldn't say they're good either- just kinda meh. I'd go to Chipotle before coming here. The chicken is thigh meat so it's very fatty. My brown rice was a little chewy and they forgot my guacamole. We also tried the Mexican Fries. They were a bit too seasoned for me but it had good flavor. Chipotle you're able to get items on the side or extras of one without an additional charge- not here. They also don't offer all the meats shown online and their premade bowls aren't automatically selected when you choose one which is odd. Portion sizes are average. The other bowl hasn't been tried yet but I don't see him loving it either."
