"This was a very pleasant surprise. I used to order from this store regularly, but stopped when my favorite order. the T-bone steak, was removed from the menu. I was surprised to see it back. The steak was a really good cut of meat and was perfectly cooked. The fries and actually arrived warm and were large, tasty, and plentiful. The eggs also arrived warm, and were fluffy and tasty. I have a few recommendations. You should offer a choice of "no seasoning" on the steak. I was not fond of it, and like everything else, there was a generous amount of it. You should also offer a choice of the toast being toasted in a toaster, without the background flavor of the meat seasoning from the grill. Also, you might offer a choice of untoasted. And when you offer any kind of bread, butter should be included. The grape jelly was a nice addition, but I would have preferred butter, either instead of, or in addition to, the jelly. All in all, an excellent meal. I will order again in the future.

"I got the SJ's California burrito. Actually my mother and I both ordered the SJ's California burrito. It was absolutely delicious. I had the steak. She had the beef and we were both extremely happy with our choices. I will definitely be ordering from here again probably the only place I will be ordering from when I want Mexican food. The ORDER OF QUESABIRRIA tacos were fantastic — flavorful, tender, and packed with that rich, savory broth that makes birria so addictive. They were perfectly prepared and hit the spot. The Queso Dip With Chips was also excellent: creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor with a generous portion. Both items were highlights and easily worth reordering.
The only minor disappointment was the QUESADILLA with pastor meat. While it was still well-made and good quality, the flavor profile just didn’t quite work for me. It tasted more like Chinese spare ribs than traditional al pastor — a bit sweeter and different from what I was expecting. It wasn’t bad, just not the best match for the dish.
That said, the overall food quality was clearly high. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and well-packaged. This restaurant consistently delivers solid Mexican food, and I’ll be back for those quesabirria tacos and queso dip for sure! Highly recommended. 8.0"
