The Gingerbread Latte was light and well balanced. It was reminiscent of a Chai tea latte but with gingerbread flavors. I think The Reading Room is really onto something by including books on their menu. I definitely would recommend this for book lovers. Will I order again? Absolutely!"
"They didn't prop cover the whole for My coffee so it's spilled all over. The coffee itself also just wasn't in good quality. it tastes like they put a small bit of coffee in the cup and then added just a bunch of water. I got a Poe mocha, But it doesn't taste like mocha at all. If you're going to grab a drink here, I recommend grabbing the video instead. The baked goods are pretty solid though."

"I wasn't impressed at all. It cost $100 to feed myself and my two small children, and most of it wasn't even edible. The fruit was rotten, and my kids' friend toach was nearly burnt and so hard they could barely eat it. The hot chocolate I got for them tasted like pure chocolate syrup. As for my food, only the eggs and veggies on my benedict were decent. The english muffin was so thick and soggy I gagged when I took a bite. And the hash browns were just a thick block of mushy potatoes. The bird tarts are the only thing I would recommend. They were delicious!"

I placed an order directly through the restaurant for delivery, and it took over an hour to arrive. Unfortunately, the delivery experience was poor; the driver smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which was quite off-putting when receiving food.
Regarding the meal:
- I Love New York Sandwich: I could barely taste the spicy mustard or the Russian sauce on the pastrami and corned beef. Additionally, the bread was toasted to a flaky texture, which is an unsuccessful choice for a Reuben.
- Sides: At $2.50, the side pickle was surprisingly small and simply cut in half. For the price, the value was not there.
