"I ordered two items, the popcorn chicken poutine and the onion rings. The popcorn chicken poutine was disappointing. Unfortunately the fries were quite dry, and there was a severe lack of chicken. I only got 6 pieces in my own box, which felt like a rip off. The flavour was overall quite bland too, but the gravy at least was nice, and the cheese curds were plentiful. The onion rings tasted okay, although they lacked any satisfying crunch you'd expect coming from an average onion ring. The portion size was quite small, too. Overall for the price you pay here, the product is unfortunately not worth it. If the food was cheaper it'd be a "maybe", but at the price items are available at, I wouldn't recommend ordering from Smoke's Poutinerie whatsoever. They at least included a nice handwritten note with my order which did put a smile on my face."

The Big Kids' Bugs N' Cheese was a big serving and the pasta shapes were adorable.It lacked flavor though and could have used more cheese and sauce...perhaps a bit of parmesan crusted on top. The pasta was also a touch overcooked....likely from being covered while hot and continuing to cook. This dish also came with fries, a juice box, and a dessert. (There was a choice of sides for both kids meals and each was under $13.)
The Chocolate Explosion was unfortunately very small for the cost,...unfortunate because it is absolutely delicious. One bite and I am hooked! "We chose the barbacoa for our regular tacos with no cilantro on anything, a mix of both tortillas and salsa roja. The tacos tasted fantastic and were so moist. The birria tacos are definitely superior with the corn tortilla while the barbacoa tacos with the flour, as the birria shells get crisped up a bit and that softens that sweet flavour of corn. The salsa had a nice touch of spice, and the consomme was rich and full of flavour - it also paired well with both taco types. The lime wedges were fresh and the chips tasted as expected. The packaging definitely needs some tweaking, however, as the boxes do trap a lot of moisture in them. That moisture affected the quality of the chips and the integrity of the tortillas, but hey, the restaurant does warn us it will get messy. Anyway, delicious food, definitely recommend."
