"Tried this new "hawaiian" bbq/ramen resto. Ordered anything but. Went with the OG laulau plate. It comes with 2 scoops of rice, mac salad and 2 small laulaus. Hmmm. Im torn. I was just excited about the area just having a new food spot. But what do you expect. It was overall ok, just to satisy the hawaiian craving for a good 15min. Pretty small and hard to unwrap the ti-leaf without throwing out some taro leaves with it. The meat was a bit dry and dont expect any fish in it. Well both of mines didnt have any. I was actually trying to look for some fatty peices as it was just so dry. Mac salad was ok, not mushy but not creamy and very oniony. Also had some cabbage/broccoli under the laulaus. Not necessary. Would try other items next time."

The "side" of hummus was laughable and the size of a thimble, so it was overpriced for the product amount, and the quality of the hummus (which was bland, slightly grainy, and didn't taste fresh). As for the wrap, it was fine, but also fairly bland, which is saying something considering I got it hot. The wrap pictures are also misleading because it looks like they come with fries, but they do not. Although the wrap description didn't mention fries, it wasn't implicitly clear that fries were not included, based on the picture being part of the advertisement of the meal. However, many people have given this place good reviews, so I'm HOPING that maybe it was just an off-day and if I ever order from there again, I'll know to stay away from the "sides" :-D"

"I think there needs to be a proper and detailed review as Japanese curry is one of my favorite dishes: Portion size: Half of the container was filled with curry...half. Pork cutlet was the size of a childs hand, the rice was the only decent size portion. To pay for extra portion would not have been worth it considering this was a bit expensive already. (See pictures below) Flavor: the beef curry itself had a sweeter / spicier flavor profile. Not too salty, hefty in consistency. Personally no complaints there. I like my curry more on the savory side but every place is different. Pork cutlet was somewhat moist, but lacking in seasoning, even a bit of salt could've went a long way. Packaging: Excellent Would i order again? Maybe but only if portions are better, and seasoning the pork cutlet happens. "
