Half of the container was tripe. and I know the recipe was authentic because on top in the center is an entire hoof and ankle joint. I love cartilagenous meats, and this was perfect. The tripe was tender and not chewy, and each veggie tasted like it was added to the pot at the perfect time to bring out its best flavor. The broth was rich and savory, warm but not spicy hot. "First time trying this spot, later in the evening and intriguing spots with veg options are scarce. I guess I can see how some folks would perceive the food as "lacking flavor," but I could also argue they have an immature palate (hehe). The ingredients are able to speak for themselves and are not overwhelmed by an aggressive amount of salt. Very fresh, components meant to be warm were still cozy hot in temp when arrived as well!
It smelled so incredible, I immediately took a piece of falafel by hand to mouth. Delightfully oily in a way that it didn't make me feel like I was making out with the fryer and so texturally satisfying. Speaking of texturally satisfying ... that saj bread! I am totally stuffed, have leftovers and don't feel like trash! :)

I order the exact same thing every time and it's always the exact same. not like Wingstop where sometimes it's extra sauce sometimes it's no sauce sometimes it's boneless instead of bone in. really enjoy this place. plus they offer free quality items that you will actually eat this time I got a free Chicken Philly . looks good smells good but I'm saving it for lunch tomorrow.
