Egusi was great I added the catfish for $7.50, only got a small fillet in my dish wish it was more. The plantains were not ripe enough to be as sweet as i like. Great aromatic pepper flavor. But be careful if you add the spicy option because it makes it hot!. Okra was also a close second, good kick spice wise and fresh. The egusi had a funky gamey goat flavor but good texture. The ogbono was gross, tastes like slimy vomit. Pounded yam was good, more on the thinner sticky side. I would get the chicken and okra if you're new to this type of food."

"First off, I am so glad that the Red 猪猪红豆沙包 / PEPPA PIG Red Bean Bao (or red bean paste buns as I was introduced to them) are as cute as your menu shows! AND they are really good!
Also, thank you for making your Mapo Tofu spicy! This is the best one I have found in this area. Two bites in and I could definitely feel the heat! Thank you for also offering a vegetable option! The pork ones I have tried just add the texture of ground beef, but I think I will give your pork option a try next time I order.

"I have had this place I would say twice on doordash and 3 times in person. I have never had a problem with food. The portions are enough to fill 2 people. "Even though I will be giving a negative review on one of the meals I received, I will continue to order from Kung Fu Rice because their food is very good and so filling. The Pepper Steak and the Sesame Chicken were very good, but the Salt and Pepper Shrimp were inedible. The shrimp was either old or not defrosted properly before being cooked. When I pulled the heads off the shrimp, the head cavity was empty or mushy instead of coming out in one piece. When peeling the shell off, the meat was either mushy or stuck to the shell and the vein was crumbly. I tried washing the vein off the meat, but it stuck to the meat. I ended up having to throw the whole order away. This was the third time I've ordered this, and they have always been perfect. I was surprised by how tasty they were, unfortunately on the 3rd time, it was a disaster. "
