The plate was full of rice, with about 7 of those very little shrimp that you can buy frozen at Walmart and defrost with water. I got the "fried rice with some meat from the Chinese place" vibe. I travel and stay at lots of places in the southern part of the US, and I've had lots of hibachi orders. No offense to any other eatery here, but , this place is the most authentic I have found.
The ramen and the small dishes are yummy, and it's the only restaurant I've found that does Pork Katsudon.
The rest only do chicken, when pork IS the traditional choice.
And they do both Katsudon AND katsu.
