"I ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken and paid an additional $4 to add shrimp. I selected spice level 2, which was absolutely perfect! Everything was extremely flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked beautifully. The dish was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The only reason I’m not giving a full five stars is the shrimp portion. For an additional $4, I received only three medium-sized shrimp in the entire dish. While I understand that food costs have increased, I was disappointed with the quantity for the additional charge.
My recommendation to the restaurant would be to specify the portion sizes for protein add-ons on the menu. This would allow customers to make an informed decision about whether they want to pay $4 for three shrimp before placing their order.
As a food business owner myself, I believe in being transparent with customers about exactly what they’re paying for. When I charge extra for something, I make sure my customers know what they’re getting upfront rather than leaving them surprised when they receive their order.
Overall, the food was excellent, and I would certainly order again. I simply believe a little more transparency regarding add-on portions would improve the customer experience."
