WHO gives bread without butter. as we began to indulge we became quickly disappointed. the DDD MIKE'S ORIGINAL PAPPARDELLE was bland, oily, lacked of sauce, and had maybe one single slice of eggplant cubed up and tossed in. the CLAMS SAUCE PASTA was also very bland and mainly oil. overall the food was just whatever. the thing that got me was the price i had to pay for this food. i simply would have not mind this mediocre food if it was fairly priced but it just simply not. i will not be returning to this restaurant. "I had never ordered from Sappore before, but I was craving a Philly cheesesteak and found them through DoorDash’s “Happy Hour” section. First of all, bravo to them for offering an affordable menu during select times—something rare these days! I was initially drawn to their plain pizza, which was priced reasonably (not $28 like many places!).
While the cheesesteak wasn’t part of the Happy Hour deal, I was so impressed by the rest of their menu that I decided to give it a try, along with an order of cheese fries. Let me tell you, this is the spot I’ve been searching for in Atlantic County. I was nearly in tears because everything was just that good.
The Philly cheesesteak? Glorious. It’s massive—basically like two full cheesesteaks in one—and the flavors are incredible. It’s fresh, perfectly seasoned, and easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve had since Gino’s. No exaggeration.
The pizza? Beautiful. It was perfectly made, fresh, and delicious. Even the cheese fries were warm, fresh, and made with care.
What truly impressed me were the little details—Sappore sent paper plates, ketchup, and utensils with my order. I can’t remember the last time a place went above and beyond like that. They genuinely care about their food and customers, and it shows.
I don’t eat out often, but when I do, I expect food to be worth the money and far from mediocre. Sappore delivered in every way. 5 stars all the way! I can’t wait to order from them again. Keep up the amazing work!

With my food bill at fifty dollars I would only suggest other options for Italian food.
Sappore take-out containers have been poorly chosen, guaranteeing the guest steamed items. Side salads are crammed into a 4x4 container; a small chunk of iceberg lettuce, a black olive, a thick slice of non-shaved cucumber and a quarter of hard tomato.
The entire dinner was such a disappointment after a ten hour workday."
