So far we’ve had the Beef Fajita, Carnitas, Chicharrón, and Al Pastor tacos, and every single one has been phenomenal. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and made with care. You can tell they take pride in serving authentic cuisine instead of cutting corners.
The tacos come loaded with fresh onions and cilantro, and the meats are packed with flavor. Every bite reminded us why simple, authentic street tacos are so hard to beat.

I only tried 3 dishes (Hennessy Wings; Collard Greens; Yams) for this 'test run' . The verdict? I cannot wait to return (I'm actually considering it again tonight!)!!!!
Those wings were so unique and delicious! I smelled the Hennessy as soon as I opened the container; and it gave the wings an awesome flavor!
The collard greens were my litmus test. Boy, I was so pleasantly surprised. So many restaurants fail with the greens. But not Savory Souls Kitchen! That 'potlikka' broth was so rich and flavorful. OMGoodness, I wish I'd ordered 2 servings!
The yams were also good. They were spiced properly. I must honestly admit though, when I compare the restaurants's yams to mine, I like mine better. Still, I was not disappointed with my yams at all last night.
The catering menu seems much more extensive than the restaurant offerings. I know I will use them to help supplement the dishes at my next shindig, whether it's a routine cookout, or a holiday meal!

".. My love travels on the road, and had just made it in to his Lodging for the night after an 11 hr drive. All he wanted to do was unwind and relax, but I knew he hasn't eaten a full meal because he is so hooked up on my cooking when he's home. 9 hrs across the world from him, I decided to find a restaurant nearby his stay and door dash 2 of his favorites (Wings and Caesar salad)! The order arrived with the correct special requests included of cajun dry rub wings, extra caesar dressing, add bacon, add eggs, no cheese for the salad, wings were hot/fresh, and dasher was respectful as I could hear over the phone.
Now he is full as a tick and we both are happy! Food looked so good I was a little sad I could not eat off the plate lol!
