The Iskender doner was very tough, thick, and completely lacking in flavor. We couldnāt eat it and ended up throwing it away. The āSauced Eggplantā was also very disappointing ā we could literally find only one piece of eggplant in the entire portion, and even that wasnāt properly cooked. The rest was mostly peppers and an overly oily tomato sauce. Even the pide that came with our order was stale :(
We also ordered the Liver Cubes, but they were not delivered because they were out of stock.
I honestly donāt know if the restaurant has changed ownership or if there has been a change in the kitchen, but I really wish it could go back to the way it used to be. This was genuinely one of the best and most delicious Turkish restaurants in Tampa, which makes the decline in quality especially disappointing."
