"While everything tasted delicious, it was a bit jarring for my sandwich to not be assembled as a sandwich. It was more like french toast with meat and cheese on top. I didn't ask for cutlery because I thought it would be a traditional sandwich, as my previous experience ordering a Monte Cristo at other restaurants had been. It turned out that I had to wait until I got home to eat it, and by then, it was cold.
Like I said, it was still delicious. I just thought others should know in case they have a similar thought as I did."

The corned beef was leathery, the cheese was crusty, and the bread had dissolved into mush because of the gigantic mound of sauerkraut they piled on top of it all. "So so good. One of the best Halal spots and even better than the Bay shore location. The plates are nicely filled and fresh. The falafel stood out to me as usually at other places they are just ok. But these ones were so good and had extra seasoning that made it stand out from what I've usually tasted. When I got the food, I have to say that the quantity was quite generous so I was happy but the food didn't have much taste. The chicken was dry and had no flavor. Although the lamb was a bit better it also did not have much flavor. I put their hot sauce on the items but their hot sauce was not really spicy so it didn't do much. I may give this place another try because they may have been having an off day but if it happens again, im going back to Shahs Halal."
