The noodle to meat portion for the Ribeye Beef Pho Rice Noodle Soup with meatball was great and the broth was hot, flavorful. The eel Korean kimbap seaweed rice roll was also fresh and the eel was still hot off the grill. Baby octopus Korean rice cake in hot spicy pepper sauce was spicy and the sauce tasted a little different from the typical tteokboki sauce that is more gochujang forward tasting. This one is more spicy, alittle more runny and you get hints of the gochujang flavor on the back end. The tteokboki and sauce are the star and the octopuses were a great supporting role to the dish. We were so full that we didn't have a chance to try the Coconut garlic snail so that will be for lunch. one knock is the THAI MILK TEA WITH TAPIOCA PEARL is way too sweet. I had to add at least 8-10 fl oz water to balance."

I ordered the 2 entree plate with 2 appetizers. Honestly, the appetizer was the best part of the dish. The food was cold, dry and the orange chicken didnt have any sauce, it was like chicken nuggets with rice. Not much flavor and protein portion was small. The cookie is a plain, hard, sugar cookie. Some places give you mostly rice . Even the tortilla seems homemade. Not that mass produced flour tortilla that make your burrito fall apart. They have the best tacos around as well. It's the only place to find authentic cuts of meat like Cabeza and Lengua that are so well cooked. I lived most my life in Southern California and it's been a dissapointing journey adjusting to the Mexican food in Minneapolis but La Vaquita has that home-cooked by abuelita sabor I've been missing. I hope to make a trip here in person soon because their bakery items are probably just as good. I would recommend this place to anyone who appreciats real Mexican food."

"I love Ichiddo, so I was super excited when this location opened up a few blocks away from me! Not only that but their menu has quite a bit more selection than other locations! Just got some Spicy Miso Ramen to warm myself up this time, but substituted for udon noodles and added bean sprouts. As always it was an excellent meal! Broth was so flavorful with just the right amount of spice, the pork belly was the perfect consistency with great flavor, noodles were tasty and filling. The food came out piping hot and was still nice and warm by the time I got it home. I love the separate packaging for the broth and goods, makes it so easy to reheat and enjoy at home! "This is the best poke bowl I have ever had in my life. I ordered the Create Your Own Bowl with spicy salmon + sushi rice. First bite: literally said, "wow!" out loud to myself. Second bite: "I have to write a review." At first glance, the Regular size portion seemed quite small, but I am stuffed after finishing the bowl. I will likely size up next time just to have leftovers, though. The sushi rice was fresh and actually added flavor rather than just carby sauce absorption. The cucumber, avocado, and green onions were also fresh and well-portioned. I was glad to see that adding edamame didn't result in filling half the bowl with beans like most other poke places seem to do.
