"Great quality as always the proportions are excellent taste is amazing. I would order it again. I really love the fact that the Mountain Dew Baja midnight and Grilled Cheese Burrito are very well-made and the Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes. And the food is very fresh. I have no complaints."
"I probably should've known better than to order food from this Taco Bell on Tates Creek at night. Quality goes down the toilet over there at night. I received an icy cold quesadilla – or I should probably say partial quesadilla since some sections did not have anything in them. The taco was cold and broken in half. The only decent part of the meal was the drink. Definitely not worth the price!!!"

"I am extremely impressed!! I absolutely LOVE the food. I got a regular cheesesteak and was beyond satisfied. At first I was hesitant due to the size. But to my surprise there was more than enough meat on the sandwich. And perfectly proportioned ingredients. 10/10 for sure!! "
"I've ordered from here before but didn't leave a review (it was good btw), i just want to say this time bro I go the Buffalo Tender Loaded Fries and a Buffalo Tender Sub and it has been one of the best things I've ordered from anywhere in awhile! The only recommendationsi would make is get extra sauce i have the preference of my stuff being saucy but to each their own plus the porions are great!I would say if you've ever debated ordering from here do it! I ordered at 4am and everything was fresh and perfect, I will definitely become a regular customer!"

"Food is ALWAYS hot fresh and good. I love the Teriyaki Beef铁板牛 it has great flavor and its a ton of food for the price! "
"First time ordering and I was not impressed. The portion size was amazing but everything was extremely bland. The sauce on the Teriyaki Chicken铁板鸡 was so thin and didn't coat the chicken at all and the rice was a let down. I was really looking forward to some good fried rice with at least a few vegetables thrown in there.
Maybe it was because I ordered late at night. 🤷♀️"

"7. Crab Rangoon (8) / 蟹角
was exceptionally good
C26. Sesame Chicken / 芝麻鸡
had lots of sauce which is always a good thing"
"I had a really great experience here! I ordered the vegetable fried rice and the vegetable lo mein, and both dishes were super flavorful and satisfying.
The fried rice was perfectly cooked — not too oily, with a good mix of fresh vegetables in every bite. The portions were generous, and everything tasted well-seasoned without being overwhelming. You can tell they didn’t just throw it together; it actually had that classic takeout flavor but tasted fresh at the same time.
The vegetable lo mein was just as good. The noodles were soft but not mushy, and they were tossed in a really tasty sauce that coated everything evenly. I loved how many veggies they included — it made the dish feel hearty and not like an afterthought.
Service was quick, the food was hot when I got it, and overall it was a comforting, solid meal. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m craving good Chinese food, especially for vegetarian options."

"Our family has been going to Wah Mei for 15 years, and it remains our favorite Chinese restaurant in Lexington. The crab rangoons, Mongolian beef, orange chicken, and sweet-and-sour chicken are our regular go-to dishes. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is always friendly. Wah Mei is a true Hartland neighborhood gem!"
"It seems like they changed their rice and their chicken on a stick the rice is not as good it usually has onions and stuff in it it's a lot more chewy now and their chicken on a stick is not as good either I don't know what happened also the portion was smaller due to the container split. Side for me this was my favorite Chinese place and now this is very underpar."

"This is a new place in town and it is delicious! The lo mein, I got mild spicy and it was a bit more spicy than I was expecting but it was very flavorful and the pork was amazing. The rice was good and so were the dumplings. I wasn't a huge fan of the soup because it tasted a bit gingery but everything was super fresh. I would order it again especially for the price given the large portion sizes."

"The Spicy Chicken Teriyaki Bowl is SOO good!!"
"salmon was burnt on the edges and not quite done in the center. I paid extra for all veggies instead of rice or noodles and got two pieces of broccoli and a bunch of cabbage and shredded carrot. In a $20 bowl, that's really not acceptable, expected mixed veg. I paid extra for a large drink and got a regular. Rangoons were greasy and didn't really taste like anything except the deep fryer. "The C21. General Tso'S Chicken (Combo Platter) was not only good, but a huge portion of chicken with tasty sauce and vegetable fried rice was great. I am a senior and love to order here as it always gives me two meals! I definitely will order this again."
"I have ordered from here several times, hoping that maybe with time my experience would improve. It has not. I often order multiple times a week from the Alexandria Dr location for lunch at work and it is absolute perfection every time, so I'm not understanding why this location isn't. My go to is shrimp mei fun. Ordered from here, the noodles are different and mushy/overcooked, *wet* with water and there is NO seasoning or sauce whatsoever. Plain, mushy wet noodles. I got the shrimp pad thai tonight and luckily it at least had some flavor, but again the noodles were overcooked and there was SO much liquid. The fried rice also has no seasonings in it at all. Zero flavor. Just rice. It's very disappointing because the mei fun is my absolute fave and I can't order it from this spot because it has been so bad, every single time. And it's not cheap! With that being said- the sesame chicken, honey chicken and bourbon chicken have been decent and pretty much what you would expect."

"The Bigger Plate was delicious. The serving size includes enough to split up into two portions. I shared some with my two kids and still have a enough leftover for lunch! I got the Honey sesame chicken, the string bean chicken (my favorite, love that sauce), and the black pepper angus steak and all were tasty! Super fresh tender crisp veggies, tender meat and chicken, and yummy sauces. I prefer a decent variety and amount of veggies with my protein when I order Chinese and this fits the bill. The Chicken Egg Roll was on the larger size and was crunchy and tasty. I will definitely order all of this again! A great value too. "
"Peppered Streak, Orange Chicken and Green Bean Chicken was delicious . The noodles has entirely to much onion. I did not receive, utensils , napkin, any of the sauces that was ordered and on receipt. Which would have made the egg rolls and Rangoon given that extra flavor we love with them
The Pom Pine Lemon was very good and refreshing. You get a lot for your money. Will order again"

"I was in the mood for something different from what i normally order from here which is General Tso. They have the best General Tso around. I ordered the Beef Lo Mein牛捞面 and the Crab Rangoon (8)蟹角. Their crab rangoon tastes like it has a little sugar in it which sets them apart from everyone else as others have great crab rangoon but it's a little bland. The beef lo meij was 10/10. I was worried when I couldn't order a side order of beef as I thought it was not going to have enough beef, but i was pleasantly surprised. It's even great warmed up the next day. "The chicken Tikka Masala was good, but I've had better from other places in town. For the price, the portion size was small, with way more sauce than chicken and lots of rice. I liked the addition of onions and green pepper, however there was only two or three small pieces of each in the serving. I ordered spice level "spicy" and I didn't find it spicy at all. "Overall just not good. The dumplings were bland, as was everything else. The meat was cooked well, I'll give them that. The Szechuan Style Chicken wasn't even slightly spicy. The rice was also bland. The Coco Sago was not at all like sago I've had before and the pearls were crunchy. I would not order from this restaurant again. It was also more expensive than other tasty Chinese restaurants. $70 for what we got."

"I'm an instant fan! My Massaman Curry was exceptional. This is my comfort food and they nailed it! I added a little cilantro for my picture, but this needed absolutely NOTHING added! Annnnd... there was enough for 2 servings! It was so hot and fresh, it was as if they teleported it from their kitchen to my door. Great packaging so that the liquid didn't leak. I'll be back very soon!"
"My wife and I got the soups and they were absolutely perfect. Great flavor from the broth with a plentiful amount of veggies and meat. The Tom Yum soup has a great tomato lime warming heat without being spicy. The Tom Kai has a delicious explosion of coconut flavor. Cant wait to come back and try more of the menu here! Thank you to the staff for feeding us :)"

"It was Delicious. Everything was well packed "
"It was packed soooo tight in the container that it was just one big, solid blob of food under a thick, rock hard layer of cheese. The eggplant was slimy and gross, probably because of how tightly packed it was. The taste of the spaghetti was ok but I just couldn't get past the other issues enough to enjoy it. The side of tofu was soggy and like a sponge, not any other tofu I've ever eaten. The breadsticks were ok but even half of them were a little soggy. Maybe their other dishes are better but I'm can't afford to buy food that will just be tossed. Eggplant Parmesan Side Tofu"

"The chicken is tender, the flavors are amazing and zesty, and the veggies are the perfect texture and flavor. I've ordered from them 3 times now and I'll order from them again and again!"
"A lot of food but it tastes like it's from a school cafeteria. It did come hot and fresh. The green beans were poorly seasoned and so were the potatoes. The noodles tasted microwaved and the chicken sauce was very thick and artificial."

I also ordered the BBQ Spare Ribs (Small). Very tasty and a great price."
"I've been ordering from here for at least 20 years. It's always been fresh and delicious!! The lemon chicken is my absolute favorite & go to. The portions are always huge. I usually pick up, boy have ordered with DoorDash quite a few times. It's always the same perfect & same portions. "My lo mein was tasteless. I'm not a fan of too much salt, but it was so bland I couldn't eat it. The egg roll also had no flavor. The wonton soup had nice broth. The filling was almost nonexistent. When I did find one with pork, I couldn't even swallow it. Tasted old. The consistency was a lump of unseasoned. I worked for 4 years at a Chinese restaurant. This place is not good. Spent over $20 for soup broth. "

"Best Chinese ever!!! I particular like the egg rolls. Nothing like them. You would never know there is peanut butter in them. I hate peanut butter.
Even the crispy noodles are amazing.
Everything is identifiable in the soup. Yum. Lots of tofu. "
"Hidden gem alert! I’m used to very average Chinese takeout in this area—and don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy it—but Joy Food is on a whole different level. Everything I ordered was fresh, high quality, and generously portioned. The sweet & sour chicken was perfectly crispy, the General Tso’s and sesame chicken were flavorful, and the egg rolls had that extra crunch I love. The wonton soup was fantastic—but the real star? The hot & sour soup. I’m a self-proclaimed hot & sour soup connoisseur, and this was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Indescribably good. If Joy Food keeps serving food like this, I’ll never order Chinese from anywhere else. 10/10—just order it!
PS don't forget the sugar donuts!"

"The lo mein had maybe 5 bite size pieces of chicken. The bulk was noodles. Good taste but very little protein for the money spent."
"Sesame chicken was horrible! Doesn't even taste like sesame chicken. The crab Rangoon was like tiny bricks. Also weird tasting. Nothing here tastes like traditional Chinese food. So if you're used to eating at other traditional places, you're not going to like the flavor profiles at this place. How do you even mess up lo mein? "

"Fresh and Delicious as always. The raw fish cuts in basic rolls are definitely larger than other places for a great price, and the sushi rice never falls apart or feels dry, good flavor. their house soy sauce an excellent compliment and doesnt need a lot - also appreciate it comes in tiny cups instead of packets (usually) so it's already set for dipping with chopsticks.
the Philadelphia Roll is my favorite guilty pleasure always with generous cut of fresh raw salmon and avocado with cream cheese. the Shrimp Tempura Roll is large and crunchy and savory. trying spicy california r for first time....,it's not like others, it's a spicy mix of the crab meat instead of spicy mayo, and very very yummy, light like a California roll should be, glad it's not covered in mayo. spicy california r
this place has the best service and always so kind of you need to call about an order with questions and the all you can eat in person is a bargain."
"Food is great, always hot, and most of the time is really fresh. Sometimes steak is tough and overcooked. Decent portion. Comes with soup and salad with ginger and 1 or 2 yum yum cups. My biggest complaint is the packaging. Bag always has juice collecting in the bottom of the bag- so you have to clean up before you get to eat. This is the case with pickup and delivery. "

"This is not your typical strip mall Chinese food, oh no, my friend, this is sit-down quality Chinese made fresh with quality ingredients. I love the Basil chicken, and you will notice that the peppers, onions and onions are freshly cut, firm and shiny, not like most fast Chinese places. The sauces are wonderful and tasty, not just different colored salt delivery devices. If you are looking for fast Chinese you might not have the highest expecation, you just want fast and cheap, but you will pleasantly surprised at how much above and beyond Shanghai Bistro is.
