"This is the type of fast food place that has a consistent bitterness among every fried food, but sometimes that's okay. I wouldn't buy this often but they do offer plenty of different things you couldn't get all together at any other joint. "This was our first time ordering from here and we were disappointed. The $16+ ham and cheese sandwich on pretzel bread was smaller than expected, but it would've been good how they made it properly. We requested no hot honey, which they soaked the bread with. And the other condiment, which was a Dijon horseradish that we did want to be on the sandwich, they forgot.
The shrimp scampi was very underseasoned, and the shrimp was overcooked (made us think they may use pre-cooked shrimp), but once we added garlic, salt, pepper, and a few red pepper flakes it was decent. However, they didn't include the garlic bread that was supposed to come with it.
We ordered a couple of kids meals. One of them was the PB&J. There was barely any PB or J on that sandwich, but there was very dry, very old and stale bread. It was in edible and went straight in the garbage.
Positive things? The monster cookies were OK, the soup was decent (not great, but decent), and the baby carrots that came with the kids meals were very fresh (mid of dad that they were the best part of the meals - lol). Also, the fruit cup medley that came with the ham and cheese sandwich was really fresh and tasty, but the little container was barely half full.
We really wanted to like this place, because they have a good variety of menu items and things that are different, but it was a miss."

"The Mapo Tofu Rice was perfect on a sore throat today. The numbing was perfect, the taste was perfect, the tofu bits were perfect, and truly to me it could not have been better. In fact, it was so good I forgot to take a picture. Portion was great for the amount per dish, and to me well worth the money. I also want to credit staff-- I called to check an ingredient, and the lovely woman who answered the phone was very helpful and kind to me. I hope this stays open for a very long time, I would be glad to eat this every single day :)"
"The Dandan noodle was amazing. I have reordered it many times and the quality is always consistent. The Szechuan flavor is very strong, which may be off putting if you're not used to it but is really delicious in this dish. The Boba Milk Tea was also very good. The matcha flavor was perfect. There was no boba in it, which was a let down. I'm not removing stars for this because I've had this place many, many times and this is the first time I've had any issue. Every time I've gotten this before there has been boba in it and it has been delicious with a perfect consistency. Overall Foodie and Sweetie have delicious food and consistent quality and I will continue to order from them."
