"After living in NYC for 3.5 years, and being raised Jewish by my mother, whose family moved from the Bronx and Brooklyn to L.A. with the Dodgers, I know a little something about bagels. And these bagels are by far the best I've had in Boston.
The inside of every bagel is soft, fresh, chewy. The exterior of every bagel is crispy. They are large enough without being overly massive or doughy. They hold up to wet toppings without getting soggy. And each flavored bagel tastes distinctly like its intended flavor.
I love the Seaport sandwich (bagel with cream cheese and lox), but I've tried every breakfast item on different bagels, and several of the Carnegie pastrami/corned beef sandwiches, and they are all righteous. And during the week, there's BOGO Cold Brew, which is what initially drew me to this shop. I highly recommend it to anyone without a gluten allergy or sensitivity. "The $10 Little Leaf Farm Salad was 5 lettuce leaves and a few carrot & radish shavings, no chickpeas. It was more of a garnish than a salad. I'd selected the option to add chicken to the salad (thinking it would be a normal size and I could make a meal out of it) and they sent a hot chicken breast still on the bone, in a separate container. Having (cold) pulled or sliced chicken would've been so much better. The espresso martini was way too sweet---I would've cut it with some vodka if I'd had any. The candle smells great but, the sticker on the outside of the tin won't come off, so it's not very attractive. Overall, pretty disappointing. "

Couldn't even tell if there was meat in it or not. And the noodles were really weird...they had this texture like they weren't properly cooked, kind of like stale playdoh spaghetti. Putting some chili oil on it made it better but why do I have to add MY stuff to make it edible? The super greens were actually pretty good. Fresh, well cooked, and lightly seasoned which gave them a refreshing taste. The proteins were bad, maybe I'll try something not breaded next time...probably not though.
