"I've ordered from here many times, tried a lot of dishes and everytime it is flawless! really great curry and lots of great sides. but my favorite part is they're open late! must try the Lamb Vindalo if you don't mind spiciness"
"Palak Paneer is my go to--it's the best I've found. It has so much flavor, lots of paneer and such good texture. It's my favorite comfort meal! I tried the Karahi Prawn this go round and there was so mich shrimp, good spice! They're open late so it's my favorite comfort meal after the bar meal with a good amount of leftovers for the next day!"

"One of the driest chicken kebabs ever, felt like a desert exploded in my mouth. Thankful that the portion for the kebab was small because I didn't want to eat it all. The biryani was a large portion with a reasonable amount of goat, but the flavor was not a hit for me. Most likely will not order again."

"The Beef Gyro Platter is always amazing. They're pricey but are big enough for two meals easily, but I'd also recommend getting an order of pita on the side if they have it(for some reason I couldn't on my order but ive never had this issue before). The 2 - Pieces Honey Sriracha Falafel was amazing, so much so that my order will be changing to this in the future. They're tender, slightly sweet, and fruity with the slightest heat in the aftertaste."
"Very greasy. Basic. slices of gyro seemed like ends meat. Sauce comes in a packet. Pita was dry. Maybe I got spoiled with the good Greek food in Detroit, but this seems like
They are just pumping out low quality fast food with a care for quality. Where's the pride?"

"Food was fresh. The Chicken Shish Kabab Plate had decent portions but the chicken was dry and tough to eat. Our side Salads were tasty; wish there were more pita chips with it. Finally, the french Fries were different from the picture advertised which was disappointing (steak fries instead of standard like pictured). "Absolutely loved this place! It’s family-owned and you can taste the love and care in every bite. The food was incredibly fresh, and the flavors—just wow. The chicken came with a spicy sauce that was an absolute explosion of flavor, the kind that lingers in the best way. The naan was perfectly soft and buttery, great for scooping up all the extra sauce from the generous Chicken Tikka Masala, which was rich, creamy, and easily enough to satisfy two people. This is the kind of spot that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend! Even spoke with owners daughter to share how amazing it was! Thank you! "

"Excellent Chicken Biryani (although it was too spicy for me to finish). The spiciness is hardly the restaurant's fault, and I should have requested a milder level of heat. Nevertheless, the dish was obviouly well-prepared and flavorful with a good amount of boneless chicken for the price. I also enjoyed the Daal and Onion Naan . "I ordered the Butter Chicken , medium spice with basmati rice and garlic naan. The butter chicken itself was gritty and some of the chicken was undercooked with skin still attached. There wasn't much spice. The flavor was more sweet than anything. The garlic naan smelled good but was a little stale. You also only get one piece, kind of expensive for $4.99. I will not be ordering again."

The garlic cheese naan was great too although I personally would have preferred touch bit more cheese. "Absolutely incredible flavor on the tandoori fish and the wings (5-6) that were also tandoori flavor. "
"The food was very good, especially the Lahori chickpeas and onion naan. I used to visit the now-closed Bismillah in San Pablo and read that this was the same group. It’s not exactly the same, though I preferred the naan and chickpeas here.
The lamb chops were overcooked and missing their rice. The Chicken Tikka Masala sauce was excellent. The medium spice needed more heat. but not enough to warrant ordering spicy. The San Pablo Bismallah doesn't give a choice but it was always perfect for my taste. if I go in and order that may be something I can work out. not their fault. My biggest issue was the yogurt-like coating on the meat, which changed the texture and reduced the tandoori char. I preferred the chicken at the old Bismillah.
The shop is great, with a fresh meat counter, good products, and lovely staff. I’d return, but may order different meat dishes."

"Wow! We've had some pretty subpar Indian on Door Dash and this is by far the best Indian food I've had in a long time! I called to ask if they could make the Aloo Gobi extra spicy and it was perfect. The portions were smaller than expected, but I would much rather have quality over quantity. Will happily be ordering again! "

"I'm not usually one to write a review for anything, really. But I have to write this to say that I've never had this much chicken put into my butter chicken from an Indian place before.
If you're someone that cares about macros and getting enough protein, you would be very happy with the amount of chicken you get in one serving. The food tasted great also, and packaging was super clean/spill free."
"The cauliflower and potatoes dish was horrible, tasteless. The dishes are inconsistent, previous order it was covered in a tomato sauce, this time no sauce and very bland. Plus the portion size for the price is absolutely ridiculous. We had maybe 4 cauliflower florets and 5 small potatoes wedges.
The chicken tikki sauce was lumpy and lukewarm. The texture was like it sat for awhile then reheated in the microwave

"Best biryani in America!
I immigrated from India to US 12 years ago and have tried a lot of South Asian food across the country and haven't had a biryani this juicy, this perfectly seasoned, and this delicious in a very long time. It's the perfect flavor and texture. I have devoured it using my hands every time I've ordered it. My family is from Lucknow and I lived in Hyderabad for a while so I'm very picky about my Biryani and this has finally hit the spot."
"Wasn't the most appealing area to grab food from but they say the spots with bad locations usually are amazing, sadly it wasnt the case with this restaurant
Food was piping but still raw , lasii tastes very dry and bitter ,biryani was most likely sitting all day for them to reheat it for me , u can tell when biryani is fresh and when its reheated , staff were all nice but a lil bit of confusion when ordering all in all id give it a 3.5 / 10 "

"I ordered the Chicken Saag/ Chicken Spinach which comes with The Indian Wheat Flatbread/Chapati Bread.Great that it's not White Flour & No Oil. Fresh 'n Piping Hot packed with Flavor & Ample White Breast Meat.
I do like Dark Meat with Bones and had wondered if that option existed here or not (?) ...
Have dined in before and it's prolly the only ' Desi / Indo-Pakistani Restaurant to serve beyond 9 p.m. in the local area. A real plus !!!!"
"Ordered the "Lamb & Pumpkin Curry via Doordash. Gr8 Ramadan Feast. Lamb was Tender, and Well Spiced.
Lovely that they serve the Entree with a choice of Naan,, Chapati Flatbread or White / Brown Rice !!!
Totally ' Hit the SPOT ' !!!!!!
Their RICE Pudding / Kheer was Phenomenal.
Maybe was Broken White Rice cooked and Reduced w/ Sugar !!!

"A True Taste of India - Absolutely Outstanding! 5-STARS
If you're looking for an authentic Indian dining experience, look no further than Noor! From the moment you step in, the warm and inviting ambiance, combined with the aroma of rich spices, transports you straight to India.
The food was exceptional! The dishes were velvety and bursting with mouthwatering flavors. The biryani was fragrant and perfectly spiced, the decadent desserts had just the right amount of sweetness, and the presentation was beautifully executed. Every dish was cooked to perfection, using high-quality ingredients and traditional homemade techniques.
The service was equally impressive--attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The staff made excellent recommendations, ensuring we had the best experience possible.
With generous portions, reasonable prices, and an unforgettable dining experience, this place is a must-visit for Indian food lovers. Can't wait to return! Highly recommend!"
"Quality ingredients and complex flavors. Butter Chicken is good but spicier than most places. If they had a lunch special I would order from here all the time. There's not really a way to get lunch here without getting food for 3+ people. I hope at some point they'll have some offerings for people who work in the neighborhood!"

"Chicken Shawerma Snack simple and delicious! The pickles give the wrap a nice crunch and the chicken is nicely seasoned. The garlic sauce is super garlicky, which I love! I added a side of Hot Sauce and it's great. Plenty of spice, nice and bright, not at all smokey."
"The Mediterranean Plates is very tasty: the falafel is nice and crispy, and the baba ghanoush is just the right amount of smoky. I really like that it comes with a salad. The first time I got it, I felt like it was a good bargain. The second time, there was less of the baba ghanoush and the hummus (and no olives in the salad), and this time there wasn't even half of the serving cup of baba ghanoush! The hummus was a lot less, too. They also only give three-quarters of a pita, and there's no way to order more. So, overall, good food, but inconsistent servings."

"Himalayan Dry Noodles / Chowmeinand Chicken 65 was good... not great. But far better than other places. The portion size is ridiculous. For the money you pay, you need atleast enough portion to fill you up. Their portion size is designed for a child not an adult"

"I absolutely love Noor and always eat from there when in East Bay! Can't wait for them to open their next location in SoMa! Yummy, wholesome and beyond tasteful than the other options around! Must try - kebabs, butter chicken, momos (So flavorful), and biryani"
"Very disappointing experience. The food was quite tasteless and lacked proper seasoning. The biryani was extremely oily, which made it difficult to enjoy. The onion pakora was also not cooked properly—it was very soft instead of crispy, and I could still taste the uncooked batter inside. Overall, the food quality and preparation definitely need much improvement."

"The Indian buffet on San Pablo is long gone, so Vegan N' Chicken filled in for a nostalgic moment with a Cal friend, now a Prof at Purdue. Fulfilling and tasty, love the vegetable biriyani and zesty chicken tikka masala. Lighter dishes, great menu, you really can't go wrong with anything here. Plus it's Halal! We dug in before I remembered to take photos."
"I called n ' requested ' to reduce chicken qty. if they had to n add some ' Potatoes. Said ' Yes - Okay , but didn't happen.
Pictured were ' Carmelized Onions ' on top, but not on my order.
Otherwise Flavir was Good as was Rice.

He was very nice to ' invite me in ' for Complimentary Tea, but I had already ordered via Doordash. Also
the Gentleman who answered said ' They had Fresh Nihari ( A Pakistani Beef Curry Specialty ).

"The delivery was on time. The food was hot, tasted very good and the amount was generous: a packed carton of rice and a full pint container of curry with excellent proportion of meat (in relation to bones and sauce). Samosas were a bit spicy and filled with mashed filling (I could only taste potatoes and spices, no peas or anything else). "

"Everything is absolutely phenomenal, just delectable! The Butter Chicken is so savory, so succulent, shredded & marinated in big strips of so much flavor! There's no way youre not scraping your plate clean! The Garlic Chive Naan of course has a heavenly aroma, it a larger naan cut in half. The Samosa are very tastey, the potatoes are cubed inside & the order is for 3. I ended up not having any Tamarind Chutney or Raita but my mom did, who used to live in India & said it was 10/10 !"
"Pro tip I can give to anyone : if you want spicy Chicken Tikka Masala, I would say wait. "Veg. Jhol Momo (8 Pieces) , Paneer Tikka Masala, and Vegetable Korma (Contains Dairy/nuts) were very tasty. Veg. Biryani was reason I ordered from this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Has a little kick. When I order again I'd get an extra side of raita. The side that came with the rice was quite small. "
"Lamb chops were completely pink on the inside and tasted raw. I had to spit it out immediately. It was also very chewy. And portion sizes were very small given the price (about $28 but portions were worth maybe $17-18; even that may be generous).
I will not be ordering from here again."

"Aloo Mutter had three pieces of potato. For that price? Wow. Tasted great, so that's a real shame. Same for the Chicken Tikka Masala. 7 tiny pieces of chicken for 2 adults. It's a shame, this place used to be great, but now it's a total rip-off. 2 stars only because it tastes good."
