"Last couple years ordering from here, always ordering the 4 or 5 piece tender combo, I notice more and more items not coming with the order. First, I stopped receiving the dipping sauces I ordered. Next, the butter for the biscuit disappeared. Occasionally, I'd be missing utensils, a straw, or napkins. Inconvenient, but not a huge deal.
Eventually, I stopped receiving my drinks. That's a good chunk of the meal's price not accounted for.
There are a few more things folks should know before ordering here. The chicken tends to be slightly stale, and the tender size has been significantly reduced over time. You can taste the eleven herbs and spices, but sometimes the grease overshadows it. Some days the biscuits are hard, other days the macaroni is gummy or burned. I believe I've even had watery mac once or twice.
Your best bet with sides is fries, and I wouldn't bother with the mashed potatoes, because they tend to have an odd texture that doesn't resemble mashed potatoes at all.
I will not be ordering online from this store for the forseeable future."

"It's cold out today and my food was barely warm when I got it. There was a lot of ham on the sandwich and a piece of chicken about 1/8" thick. The bun had been toasted too long, so once it got cold, it was rock hard. But the sandwich would have been delicious if it had arrived at the intended temperature. My food arrived in a plastic clamshell container, but it had been dropped into a brown paper bag with handles. The Ichiban Dinner Box came with a ridiculous amount of food, the Pork Katsu was very savory, and the included sauce was a unique flavor. The Miso soup was not overly salty, the dressing that topped the salad was very unique, I've never had anything like it before and it was this sort of savory umami flavor, very good!
Here's my experience summed up in one sentence: I ordered from Ichiban expecting another slightly different version of the same things I've had at other places, and instead I got a very distinct and more real tasting take on everything I ordered.

"As an indigenous Puerto Rican (Taino) + Nigerian I cannot express how much this food made me smile. The jerk chicken Jerk Chicken Dinner is phenomenal. I got the cassava bread and beans on the side with a Mango Passionfruit to drink.
The chicken was tender - fall off the bone, you were invited to the cookout where your uncles are battling against each other on the grill tender- then the jerk sauce... woooowie. Spicy but not overwhelming, just right. The juice balances it all excellently and the juice comes in a BUCKET. IM USING TWO ADULT HANDS. It's flavorful and not too sweet. Reminds me of juice on the island. The cassava bread was so soft and the rice / beans.... mmm... fantástico.

"Disappointed not to get one of our items. Called and called to resolve issue and no one bothered to pick up. Pizzas were good. Meatballs were bland and dessert we did get was tasty but upside down and hastily packed. A tiny bit disappointed as have enjoyed eating at the location and if you are going to pay 15 for a milkshake it should be a treat. Maybe door dash isn't the way to go for this restaurant."
"I’m sending this review privately because I’m a huge fan of your place and normally have great experiences. However, I wanted to let you know that wasn't the case with our order tonight. We picked up a Margherita and Forager pizza, and unfortunately, it was so undercooked between the cheese and first layer that it was inedible. the margarita one is completely raw under the sauce :( We had to put it in our own oven to finish cooking it ourselves. After a long day working it was disappointing to have to cook my own take-out."
