"The brioche sweet bread has a weird texture. I've had this brioche plenty of times from other locations, their breads are always fresh, soft, fluffy and sweet. The one I had today from this Torrance location was completely the opposite, There's no sweetness in the brioche, it taste like a regular bread you get from the market to make a sandwich, and the quality was not as fresh. As for the blueberry pastry, The blueberry filling inside was not fluffy like whipped cream as usual, it was wet and flattened.. seemed old or left out in the sun. As for the dough around it, was either over cooked/baked or just old, it was sucked in rather than round and smooth on the outside like it usually is. These pastries I buy so many times so I know how it's supposed to look and taste. I threw most of it away. Nothing was tased fresh. Two stars instead of one because the few other pastries i had was at least decent. "

"These bagels were hot and fresh. The Ultimate had an incredible, flavorful sausage patty with perfectly cooked bacon, ham, and egg. Flavorful especially with the American and Swiss cheeses. The Bagel with Cream Cheese (jalapeño cheddar) was perfect, the bagel was toasted with the perfect amount of cream cheese, and the cheddar flavor comes through nicely versus storebought bagels. The Plain Cream Cheese was gorgeous and I'm glad I added it to the list to pair with my 1 Bagel - a pizza one. I'm glad I decided to order extra from this shop."
