At first I thought the shrimp was kinda spendy (24 bucks?) But when I picked up the bag it was heavy. When I've ordered honey walnut shrimp in a bowl from a place like Panda Express, it's 12 dollars and you only get like 4 pieces! So, House of Beijing's price is fair for what you get. They gave me two complimentary springrolls w sweet&sour which was a nice surprise:) Their egg Egg Flower Soup is tasty, no food coloring so it will look different from what most of us are used to. The breading kinda all fell off my shrimp once I got into it, but thats kinda just how it is getting it as takeout🤷🏻♀️My Shirley Temple had no ice, it's a full cup of beverage. All in all, worth it. "Usually this place is 5 stars. I almost always get the You Po Mian. It's my favorite. And it's always a generous portion, delicious and hot, which I'd expect since I live like 4mins from the location. But today the portion was barely over half the size it usually is. The noodles were on the verge of cold and dry, and it seemed to be lacking the delicious vinegary soy sauce that's mixed with the rest of ingredients. The primary flavor was raw garlic.
I'm still hungry, and unsatisfied with my 20$ purchase. But this is the first time I've ever ordered and not been stuffed after over eating cause it was so good.
I'm giving them 4 stars to split the difference between this one and the other 5 star orders. "
