The seasoning for the chicken was lovely, though. Haven't tried the soup yet. Not sure if I'd o order from here again. Hummus was fine. Very basic- with tahini, not garlic. Tzatziki was not my fav, and I usually. Like it elsewhere. The babaganoush is really good.

"Tangier is a constant go-to for me and has been for years. The Moroccan Chicken is one of my favorite dishes in Portland. "The Veggie Grape Leaves was $15 for 4 in a huge case with a whole cup of runny tahini poured everywhere, it looked very unappetizing to begin with. The tahini wasn't good, the grape leaves were not inedible but for the price it's absolutely not worth it. The Lentil Soup was bland and a small portion for the price too. The Moroccan Chicken itself was pretty good, but the sauce was very greasy and the rice was bland. Not a good experience, very overpriced for what you get and it looked thrown together without care. Not coming back unfortunately. We'd been looking forward to trying it for a long time."

Chicken Shawarma - was freakin flavorful and delicious, I dissociated while eating and was transported to Flavortown. The speed that I ate that is embarrassing but it was so worth it.
French fries - crispy and lightly seasoned. The garlic sauce that they come with is HEAVEN. The container is was too small though, I needed more garlic sauce. Omg it was so good.
Baklava - Baklava through doordash has been pretty hit or miss, mainly miss, but THIS Baklava BLEW ME AWAY. Picking it up out of it's little tiny pretty square tray, there was a micro honey pull that made me wish I was filming for youtube. It looked beautiful and amazing, like straight out of a food magazine type shiii. Then when I bit into it.... HOLY TOLEDO it was INCREDIBLE. Perfectly crispy and gooey and just mmmm. This might be the Best Baklava that I have ever had. Don't sleep on it, or do so there's more for me.

"My order was correct and the food was good. If you are ordering the kabab plates, I suggest choosing the 1/2 rice 1/2 salad option for your meal. There is still plenty of rice and you get the salad. I compared prices of the three Mediterranean restaurant choices in the area with the same items and this one was the least expensive pre tipping and no delivery fee. The only difference is the other places give two chicken kababs in their meals. Gyro FM Grill gives one with the chicken plate (kafta plate has two). However, one kabab is fine for me. The chunks are large. If you want two, you can add an additional kabab by scrolling to the end of the menu and choosing which meat you would like. I don't eat much so I will get 3 meals out of this one dish and be full from each set of leftovers. I'm visiting from out of state and there are no Mediterranean food options where I live so I ordered extra food to freeze and take back home to my husband. Haha! He is going to be so happy. "We ordered from here a few days ago, but I fell asleep thinking about this meal last night, so we had to order again. Everything was delicious. The rice was fragrant and perfectly fluffy. The pickles were fresh and tangy (super glad I ordered an extra side). The meat was flavorful and juicy. Generous portions, so we got to have leftovers the next day, and it reheated wonderfully. "This was honestly divine! WOW!!! I can't say enough good things. I was wary about choosing the Tawook Wrap Combo (or even without the combo) because there were no pictures or direct reviews about this but WOW - am I glad I did! I'm not kidding. This is the best wrap/meal I've had in a LONG time.
The fries are actually **really** really good. It's a hit or miss on crinkly fries, in my opinion. This ones hit the mark - LEGIT. Crunchy on the outside, warm and smooth on the inside. OUTSTANDING. The sauce on top is really good too. It's more orange-ish/red than the other pics, not sure exactly what it is but it's GOOD. I think it might be mayo-based but it's not a typical 'ketchup-mayo' sauce.
Now onto the 'piece de resistance' - the Tawook Wrap is PHENOMENAL. The chicken is genuinely moist and cooked to PERFECTION. This is sooo good and DELICIOUS that I keep taking breaks from this review to go back to the meal and take bites (from the wrap *and* the fries) IT'S SOOO GOOOD - REALLY.
The part that's supposed to be "coleslaw" inside is really more like larger bits of lettuce and/or mayyybe cabbage. Not like thin slices of cabbage and carrot with a particular that we're used to here in the states but, again, GOOD, nonetheless.
