Beef Negima-Yaki had no teriyaki sauce on it and the beef was very grey and dry/tough. the R23. Philadelphia Cooked Roll with avocado added and sub brown rice was 10/10. we got two orders of 12. Pork Gyoza but only got about half an order's worth of dipping sauce, major bummer because it's so good and gingery.
if this was the first time we ever ate from here, we may not be ordering again. but because i know this is a one-off for sushi tei, my review is 4/5 and we will return "

I wish the seasoned egg had more flavor but that was my only complaint. As for the Onigiri (Special) which I had high hopes for they were all bland. They come in special wraps to keep the seaweed from getting soggy from the rice which was great! But the flavor was heavily lacking. I chose the poke sauce for all 3, which tasted like nothing. The types I choose were salmon, which said raw but seemed half cooked by the time it got to me, avocado and chicken. The chicken was my favorite as it was the only one that tasted like anything. There were no spices, no rice flavoring, no rice vinegar, nothing. It was bland and I can't tell why so many reviews boast about them. They are incredibly easy to make at home so I think I will just stick to that."

There were three quarter size pieces of pork in a $17 ramen bowl and you have to add an egg for $3? That's just highway robbery even compared to NYC where food is notoriously more expensive. Should update your descriptions to be accurate so that someone expecting a large bowl of ramen for $20 doesn't get shocked by the size they receive. Also usually dumpling orders that cost $9 have six dumplings, on your online order it does not say there are only four and quite frankly would not have ordered if I knew the true quantity. Again your food tastes great! That being said, you set expectations for the prices you charge, and they were not met. In order to avoid a review like this the sizes should be defined as small and please take the time to package and close containers correctly. The lid was not even on the dumpling sauce so that spilled everywhere, since that was in another protective container I know it wasn't the dasher treating it roughly. "
