"Way too expensive for the portion you get. Ceviche was a small container for $25.00 and had a funky flavor in it. Wasnt the best I have ever had. The Chicharron was old needless to say 5 pieces in it and came on two leaves of iceberg lettuce, NOT for $15.00. Sorry to say not a great experience."

"The food here was, as the name suggests, amazing. I ordered the jerk chicken platter with collard greens and mac and cheese. The chicken was tender and juicy, deliciously seasoned and slightly spicy-- very enjoyable. The collard greens were cooked perfectly and not gritty at all and the mac and cheese was great as well. The real star of the show (as it should be) was the jerk chicken. This place exceeded my expectations and I will absolutely be ordering again. "
"the food was all delicious my only complaint is that the fried catfish was only one piece i wish it listed how many were in it and the breading wasnt crunchy except on edge however the flavor was all there catfish tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned i would order from here again my mother loved her yams and cornbread if you want some proper soul food this place is perfect"

"we ordered two empanadas: Beef with Cheese and Ropa Vieja and the Pernil platter. We live across town but the food still came hot and delicious. very fresh, very authentic, very delicious. I can't even remember the last time I had authentic Puerto Rican take out this good. the Pernil was soft and juicy. the empanadas were full of meat and so tender and juicy. the portion of the platter was decent. my husband and I shared and didn't leave a single crumb behind."
"empanadas were the best part. none of this food tastes like puerto rican food at all, way to much garlic used in all dishes. beans tastes just like tomato sauce no sazon or sofrito. for the price it's not worth even to try, almost $20 each dish and barely any meat. "

"Tasty & still hot on arrival. Great portion size for the price, the rice & beans are also delicious. Maduros / Fried Sweet Plantains are great & don't taste like they're fried in old oil. Same for the Tostones / Fried Green Plantains. I also ordered a large container of their mojo sauce bc it's delish. Everything has been great, I ordered the Pernil Asado twice now, both times great."

"Delicious!
I had the bistec encebollado, pernil, and mofongo, and every bite was incredible! The bistec encebollado was tender and packed with flavor, perfectly complemented by the sautéed onions. The pernil was juicy and seasoned to perfection with that crispy, savory skin that just melts in your mouth. And the mofongo? Absolutely amazing—garlicky, fluffy, and the perfect base for all that flavor. Everything was cooked with love and authenticity. Highly recommend if you're craving real Puerto Rican comfort food!"

"It's A LOT OF FOOD for $25!! The food was just OK. I have seen reviews from other people about the food have too much oil and the meat being overcooked (hard), it is true. "So ive been buying from the usual chicken places around me for a long time. Planet and a few others. Suddenly I came across this place and (mind blown). It is incredible. Its fresh and juicy. Smells like a natural grill and prices aren't so bad.
Oh their green sauce .... best part. Been eating it since i was a kid, theirs is one of the best.
New client for sure. "

"the Beef Birria Tacos (3) are so flavorful even without the Birria sauce. it's seriously so good. the chicken Chalupa is probably the best I've ever had. you can taste the freshness in every aspect. best part is pulling up and seeing the smoker out back. 100/10 !"
"First time ordering from them was stellar. I got the RH Collision Burger and it was perfectly cooked, and mouth watering. The Strips & Spuds was another home run. A good sized portion and it came super warm straight from the grill. Definitely would order again."

"Ever since I found this place back in March, I've put my entire family on and I keep coming back. I don't know why they don't have 5 stars. The portion sizes, the customer service, the FLAVOR?? ten out of ten. most places that sell food like this are usually too salty, but not cave kitchen!!! I wish they were open everyday, but that probably would hurt my pockets too much lol "
"Pickup was easy & staff was very welcoming & professional! The food was excellent. I've been wanting to try it for so long & it surpassed any expectations I initially had. The 6PC LEMON PEPPER & Garlic Fried Chicken Bowl were flavored to perfection & piping hot. I would like to say that the Mac & cheese was star of the sides, but then I tasted the rice & plantains! So yummy! & i can't forget the Jerk Chicken Nada which has just the right level of spice. With jerk, it can sometimes be not spicy enough or too spicy for me, but this empanada hit the spot. 10/10 Will order again!"

"3rd time picking up from here and loved it each time. Had the Mofongo de Camarones en Salsa de Ajo / Shrimp Mofongo in Garlic Sauce and Bistec Salteado / Sautéed Steak this time. Both were done perfect. Their Empanada de Carne / Beef Empanada is one of the best tasting empanadas in the Woodbridge area. So many other local places fall short. I just wish they sold their beans as a large order. I could eat their beans and white rice every day."
"Pescado Frito was well cleaned, seasoned pretty good and fried perfectly. its hard to find snapper that is seasoned throughout. they did a pretty good job. i prefer a little more seasoning but still good.
Sopa De Pescado needed more seasoning but very generous with their portions."

"The Monmouth Junction Diner is one of the hidden gems in the area. The sandwiches and entrees are always flavorful and well-portioned. (The egg salad sandwich and ribeye are my favorite to order at the restaurant.) Perhaps just as important, the food is always consistent. A place you must try!"
"2nd time ordering from Monmouth Junction Kitchen and it is consistently amazing! The Two Eggs With 1 Meat was fantastic and made exactly as ordered and the Florentine Omelette was cooked perfectly. Both were fresh, had perfect portions, and delicious! I called the restaurant with a question and Dennis provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend Monmouth Junction Kitchen!"
