Lately the everything bagels barely have a sprinkle of seasoning on them. everything bagels are supposed to be covered at least to the point where you get the flavor. I know times are tough, but this is not where to cut corners. bacon is inconsistent. sometimes perfect crispy well done, sometimes flimsy and see through barely cooked. Sometimes the bagels are great, sometimes they are almost soggy, I think from the heat from the foil. but it's better than being Cold."

"I have never left a poor review, but I have also never spent so much money for such sub-par food. High notes: The gumbo was fantastic and the Gouda blackened chicken was great. The Godmother flatbread was so sad... each piece didn't even have close to the toppings described. The sauce resembles Chef Boyardee... nothing against that, it reminds me of my childhood build-your-own-pizzas.... My Milanese Caesar, however.... was only lettuce and Parmesan crisps... no Brussels Sprouts, no bacon, no bleu cheese. I ordered a steak thinking it would be in place of the chicken... it was not, but the steak and chicken were both excellent. Helpful hint: Don't offer a salad as an entree if it is just a few lettuce leaves, a couple Parmesan crisps, and your protein. For $19, plus the $12 for a steak... I am offended. I have honestly never felt so dissatisfied. We were excited to try a new place, but were just left laughing at the food received. Please do better for take-out.

It's an incredible value for the large amount of food you receive, and there's been a discount the last few times I've ordered it, so I endulge and add the Side Thick Cut Bacon (GF), (which is outstanding, btw) and a side of one of the sauces that's on the taco(s) of my choosing.
What can I say? I love a great sauce, and lots of it...I'm a saucy guy!
The Le Tierra (my spelling is questionable, but it has steak, sautéed onions, and portobello mushrooms), and the something Loco (which has spiced chicken, corn, BBQ sauce) are my go-to tacos, and they're "Oh my goodness, buckle my knees!" delicious! I usually put a strip of bacon in each taco, which is my one guilty pleasure of the week (treat yourself)...
The guacamole is outstanding, but if you don't enjoy a garlic flavor, go with the queso or salsa.
I'm thrilled this Barrio opened so close by, and especially that things have improved so much since they first opened.

"I was looking for a new breakfast spot for one of my favorite meals so I ordered the Big Countryand it sure was tasty but more of a medium country in value. plenty of potatoes, the biscuits were big, the eggs and gravy were lacking however. I suppose it was two smaller eggs but there was only a thin layer of gravy covering the biscuits and potatoes. the last thing I want when I have sausages gravy and biscuts is plain biscuts which with how big the biscuts were, about half was still left bwfore the gravy was gone. Overall it was good but not sure it'll be a regular place for my Sundays."
