"It is really rare that I am actually impressed by a restaurant but this was on a whole nother level. Indian food in southern California is absolutely trash. Literally watered down, soulless, flavorless. It's honestly sad. This is true north Indian treasure. Every spice, every speck of flavor that is supposed to be there shines bright like Surya. Both the Malai Kofta and the Saag Paneer are exceptional, my only gripe with the food itself is that the portions could be slightly larger. It took two entrees to really get me there, if you know what I mean.
