"This food is amazing! They weren't stingy with the meat in the curry or the vindaloo, or with the paneer, everything tasted really rich and flavorful - I ordered stuff mild and medium since I had never gotten food from here before and it was all appropriate spice levels, the samosas are a really good size and they give a good amount of rice and tamarind sauce. Love how tender the lamb was, delicious. Much better than Madina or Deshi in my opinion."

"I recently ordered from Alif, especially on Eid day, as I was expecting a good biryani experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be very disappointing. I ordered beef tehari (beef biryani) along with rice pudding. The rice pudding seemed old and spoiled—the rice was already breaking down and melting, which made it unpleasant to eat.
As for the beef biryani, it was supposed to contain a decent amount of beef, but I only found 3–4 very small pieces of meat. Even worse, the biryani was completely tasteless. There was no aroma or flavor at all—just plain rice with almost no seasoning.What they show on the online menu and what I actually received were completely different. The presentation and portion did not match at all.Overall, this was one of the worst biryanis I’ve ever had. It felt like a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this place to anyone who truly loves biryani."

It is quite honestly the BEST my husband and I have ever had, with all our travels combined!!Our toddler and two older children thoroughly finished their plates , and my oldest came back for more of my butter chicken(PHENOMENAL!!!) just so he could dip more of the naan into the sauce. The butter chicken is my personal favorite. The lamb is cooked to perfection, and I strongly recommend trying all the varieties of naan along with your meal. Desserts are perfectly portioned and the value is incredible. The staff is so kind and know how to expeditiously prep your order.
