Everytime we get food from here it's always with the freshest ingredients.. you can taste that their prawns are really fresh and they always have fresh vegetables with no wilted ones in any of their dishes. For example, a lot of places make Yeung Chow Rice with a simple frozen mix of peas & carrots or something, but Cafe Gloucester uses fresh chopped vegetables in theirs. Their curry dishes are delicious with a nice thick savoury slightly sweet and very mildly spiced curry (and they all come with plain white rice to go ontop of). Their pastas are also good, although they're not usually our go-to here, we've tried a few of them and they're tasty as well (although they do have some corn and carrots in their bacon mushroom penne which was surprising for us, but it didn't bother us or ruin the dish at all). Definitely a great place to try, the portion sizes are suitable for the price but it's just the tasty food with fresh ingredients that keeps us coming back."

"Holy. Moly. This food was so unbelievably delicious! Been wanting to try this place since it opened, but wasn't sure what to expect.
What I got was the most flavorful Palak Paneer and Lamb Tikka Masala I've ever had, seriously. Not sure if either have Nepalese spices as some other menu items mention, but they were definitely different to any other Indian food I've had, in the best way possible.
The Chicken Manchurian was okay, though I wasn't expecting the skin to still be on the chicken: I wasn't a huge fan of the texture of it, but the flavours were still nice.
The Garlic Naan (V) was perfect, and do yourself a favor and get the Mango Chutney (VG,DF,GF) : it's the ideal, sweet accompaniment to all of the many layers of spice and flavor.
The portions are extremely generous, and the curries do come with rice, even though the menu descriptions don't say as much.
And "mild" still has a very nice kick to it, so bear that in mind when selecting your spice levels.
