"Overall, I get the essence of home... an authentic dish from my titi's house. However, sometimes the pernil is absolutely perfect and other times it's very dry. The only time we get the right amount of rice is if we ask for no salad. I find the salad to be a waste because it's already dressed and arrives soggy. We love salad, just not soggy. I understand the restaurant uses good containers but they are children sized portions for quite a bit of money. I dine at fine restaurants and well appointed restaurants where the dishes are more expensive than their street counterparts, but the portions and the quality of the food command the prices.
