"I never leave reviews, but today is the day! The beef over rice was delicious! The beef was cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. The veggies were also super fresh. The wings were fresh and crispy and the crab rangoon was also made with fresh ingredients. They also give very good portions. I will return over and over again and try something different on the menu each time!"

"Never leave a review but veranda is now my go to for take out. The pho and vermicelli bowl are my go to and the food is always delicious. The appetizers never disappoint I recommend you go for the spring rolls or the crab rangoons. The portions are huge and also make for great left overs. Veranda is a staple of Portland I can't sing their praises high enough"

"Everything was delicious!!! Tons of fresh crab on a gf bun! It was light and tasty! I love coleslaw and this did not disappoint! It was a light mayo based sauce with poppyseeds. I would have liked more vinegar but it was tasty nonetheless! The potato salad was flavorful and seasoned well but a touch dry. The chowder was a treat since it is hard to find gf chowder. The milk base was tasty and the clams were a bit sandy so I know they were real! All and all it was a great experience and I will definitely order again!"

"Summary: tastes great but packaging leaves a lot to be desired, steam built up in boxes. Opened immediately upon delivery, but already soggy. The Fried Pickles were quite tasty but the batter suffered a lot in transit. The entire appetizer was 4 quarter spears (aka 1 pickle), so it simply wasn't worth the price. The red pepper aioli that came with the pickles was awesome and ended up going well with the other menu items. The Fish & Chips included two nice pieces of haddock, wonderfully-seasoned, albeit sadly more of a baked fish texture by the time it arrived. All but 1 of the fries that came with the haddock were flabby/squishy, but again, great flavor, so you didn't really mind that they had the texture of baked potatoes? The slaw with the Fish & Chips was great, the tartar sauce was about average, and they included Ketchup Packets as requested, which was appreciated. Have not yet opened the New England Clam Chowder, unsure about cup/bowl as the $16 bowl isn't much more than a cup?"
