"I usually get the Bo's House Salad and I always love it. This time is no different but I was disappointed that the salad did not include a few of the usual items - like the hard boiled egg, which I love with the salad. Initially skeptical, I'm now impressed with a place I assumed was a typical corner shop. Some time after 6am I got the craving for lunch. Sketchy sleep schedule, you know how it is. The only place that looked good was Ryan's. I got Shrimp and 4 pieces dark combo for later. I wanted to count the shrimps because Popeyes burned me with only 17 shrimp for around $10. I lost count around 60 - it was SO much. The taste & texture was stellar, beautiful color, virtually no grease. With just as many fries, it took an hour to eat. Kudos to them for giving a nice amount of tartar sauce & ketchup. Side salad was fresh & simple. I can't know if every dish will be this fantastic, but I can tell these folks care about making quality food.
The chicken was also really good, both fresh and after I heated it up in the evening. Fries, ketchup, and a can of Coke included (customized request).

I got a Fish Plate Lunch with some French Fries . And it was so much food I needed an hour or longer to eat. I was worried that catfish with rice could soak up some moisture, but the catfish wasn't soggy at all! In fact, the crispy (even crunchy) breading was better than any fried fish I've had lately. A (slightly) spicy, seasoned crispy outside that had a beautiful combination of flavors. Aaa. It was so good y'all. And the shrimp fried rice that came with it was a nice change of pace from typical fast food pairings (I still loved the in crinkle cut fries btw but never had rice with fish; really tasty).
This is an easy 5/5. The only thing that could have been better was the amount of tartar sauce. I only got 1 ramekin for 8 pieces of catfish. Ran out sooner than half way through meal. Tartar sauce isn't currently on the DD menu.

The Shrimp Dinner wasn't really for me but that has nothing to do with the food itself. It was prepared wonderfully and looked very appealing! Lots of different prepared shrimp to enjoy. All in all definitely recommend!"
"I should have known better than to have certain items on the menu delivered. Some food is really meant to be enjoyed right away. The charbroiled oysters for example are so much better in the restaurant. I would definitely advise against having those delivered and save those for the dine in experience. I also feel like paying the extra $10-$12 for the large gumbo or etoufee isn't really worth it. Very delicious but very small portions for a large. That's close to HALF of a quarter pound. For reference, the Classic Chicken Sandwich which was $6.24 weighed ~250g. Biscuits and fries were great. Just such a let down for them to overcharge and underdeliver. Yeah, I was so suspicious of how little shrimp I received that I found my food scale. Imagine getting scammed that hard."

As usual, I ordered a 2 Shoppe Combo's and it's enough to feed 4 adults (me, my husband, my elderly mother and mentally challenged niece); I'm guessing it's a new cook, nothing tastes the same: the gumbo taste like water and cayenne, and rice was definitely old, usually my favorite but I couldn't eat it; the jambalaya tastes ok but chicken was scarce and very dry, took the chicken & sausage from the gumbo to added to the jambalaya ; my husband said his Pastalaya tasted fine. I had him try my food as well just to make sure it wasn't my taste buds and he agreed there's got to be a different cook. I used to brag and rave about this place but I will not be anymore. The food has gone done in the last few years. Seasoning has become less and less and now nothing taste edible. Whatever changes y'all made change them back, PLEASE! "I tried the roast beef poboy from Toula’s Burgers and it was really good. They definitely don’t skimp on the meat. There’s plenty of roast beef and the sauce gives it great flavor. It was just a little on the salty side for me, but still tasty overall. I also got the fries and gravy, which were a nice touch, though again, just a bit salty.
One suggestion I have is for their DoorDash packaging. I would really like to see them staple the bags in a more secure way so they are fully closed. You never want to give a dasher the chance or temptation to reach in and grab a fry. "
