"First time eating from here. I was a little worried about if the food would be hot still when it arrived because we are much further out from them but both meals were perfect! My son has sensory issues and I was worried about him trying something new. I got the Chicken & Rice for him thinking it looked similar to our chicken & rice casserole I make at home and he loved it! "This is the first time that I used Door Dash to deliver food from Truman's. Everything was delivered on time. Normally we eat at the restaurant or pick it up ourselves. Our Door Dasher was a pleasant young lady.
When the food arrived, it was warm but not hot. That's to be somewhat expected though. The large portion of onion rings were the thin type that I prefer. They tasted delicious and were only slightly greasy from the ride to my house. The 10 inch Podolak pizza looked like a work of art. It was very colorful because, it had so many pretty red peppers, red onions, Graziano's sausage, pepperoni and even pineapple. The red onions were very fresh and crisp.
In the past we have ordered onion rings, the Philly Cheesesteak Pizza and the Meatball Marinara pizza. My absolute favorite is the Philly Cheesesteak pizza. If you want the larger 14 inch pizza be sure to specify that when ordering.
If you are a first responder, teacher, nurse or military they will give you a discount. You just have to tell them.

"We have been wanting to try Nonas out ever since a review from a ex New Yorker who lives in Des Moines did a tik tok review. She was spot on. This is the best All Meat Pizza we have ever had. Forget other pizzas. Nonas pizzas are very large and full of consistent toppings. The only thing I would add is sauce to dip in. Believe me one maybe two pieces will do you. Another item we tried was the Beef Patties with Cheese. Upon the tik tok reviewers recommendation, it is a pastry filled with a meat mixture and mozzarella cheese. Fantastic flavor. The food in general has a weird latex like taste now. All the ingredients are different than they used to be, they lowered the quality and raised the prices. Nothing was marked for what it is, which is a huge pain when you're ordering multiple wedges. Breadsticks were undercooked and still raw in the center. Won't order again.
