"The Build Your Hive Stack was tasty and a good size portion, but it honestly wasn't worth the price or the awful wait time coupled with the horrendous layout of the cafe. The coffee prep and register are crammed into the front of the restaurant with comfy chairs and coffee bar seating, leaving very little room for the excessive line which went out the door in the 15-20 minutes that I waited to pick up my food. With no signage indicating where to pick up pre-orders, I was forced to wait in line with people as they ordered and had their drinks prepared while they waited at the register. Most cafés have you step to the side while drinks are prepared so that the line can progress, but not at Honey Bee Café! As such, my sandwich was no longer warm by the time I picked it up.
While the sandwich was good and the Ice Coffee Large was fine, I would not want to order from this establishment again until they work out a better system for drink prep, pre-order pickup, and re-envisioning the space."

"I had stayed away from this restaurant for a while because they have kids in the kitchen and the food was awful when I noticed that they were back on DoorDash I opted to give them a try by ordering something as simple as a Portuguese steak sandwich and french fries they're back to using their 5 oz Delmonico's for the steak it was cooked perfectly absolutely fantastic and then I saw swordfish tips with shrimp Mozambique so I decided to get that last night It was absolutely amazing! I'm not sure if the old man is back cooking in the kitchen but both orders were absolutely fantastic and because I live so close they were hot which made it even better The size of the swordfish tips were crazy huge The shrimp was cooked to perfection and I had chosen not to get french fries and just eat the rice even the rice was good I'm glad that the food was good and I only hope that the owner is back in the kitchen cooking because those kids nearly lost his business for him they're lousy they cannot cook Portuguese food"

"I have been incredibly sick for days and haven't been able to eat for the last 3. today I decided I really wanted a Belgian waffle with strawberry and whipped cream and it did NOT disappoint! everything was absolutely amazing, and what I loved most was the thought and care they handled my order with. knowing my food had to travel to me, they put a huge container of whipped cream on the side so that it would t make my waffle soggy before I got it! and when I say it was huge I mean it!! highly recommend! you won't regret it!"

"The food was so good! I got the Bruce D's Favorite omelette. I couldn't finish the whole thing. My husband got the Egg and Cheese with Bacon Sandwich with spuds. We had never been here before. I originally tried to order with another delivery service but Natalie (I think that was her name) was so sweet to call me and tell me that they dont usually get drivers to pick up for the other service. "Ths place is definitely more expensive than most cafes my a significant margin, but I'll be damned if it isnt some of the best cafe food out there. The Hangover Cure or Breakfast BLT are some of my favorites. Their drinks also stand up just as well.
