"All my boyfriend has talked about for a day was wanting an everything bagel. I live 30 mi. away in the SFV. He travels from my house to work by motorcycle so I wanted to do something nice for him so I dashed a surprise brunch bagel and OJ as he arrived. I wasn't able to find any another eatery with an "everything" bagel. Bagel options were also bigger than other places. I was very impressed with drink options as well as variety of sweets. "For the most part everything was great. My only complaint is the 1 pc Portuguese Sausage Musubi. There was so little sausage on it that you couldn't even see it until after you bit into it."
"I was pretty disappointed with my order. I paid $3.40 for a side of fried shrimp because the menu photo clearly showed four pieces of shrimp. Instead, I only received one piece. This wasn’t the “add a piece” option from the combo menu—it was a separate side order that I specifically purchased because I expected to get extra shrimp.
To make matters worse, my total order came out to almost $50, so I was surprised that the restaurant wasn’t willing to make things right over something as small as two or three additional pieces of shrimp. When I brought the issue to their attention, they simply told me there was nothing they could do. They didn’t offer an explanation, a refund, or any effort to compensate me for what appeared to be a misleading menu photo.
For a customer spending nearly $50, I would have expected better customer service. Providing the missing two or three small pieces of shrimp would have been a simple way to resolve the issue and leave a good impression. Instead, I was left feeling misled and disappointed. I hope they update their menu photos so future customers know exactly what they’re ordering."
